Had my first PvP game yesterday. I think I did good for my first game. I had about 10 games against AI before hand to get the hang of things.

I wish I could try casting some LoL but no replays, no casts. I feel like I'd be good at that.

The problem is that you only have one persons perspective, what you were looking at that game so I'd be limited to what you've done all game. I can't go check what the enemy jungler is doing, what HP looks like in other lanes, stuff like that so I'd be saying "Oh Dani is playing Cait. Look at Cait. Such a nice girl."

it's been bugged the entire game, the spectators were avoiding it on purpose

Start with a Doran's Shield, rush Infinity Edge, go two tanky items, back to damage (Atma's).
I start with boots + pots
Is metagolem yi viable? I was thinking, it might be fun to try.

I used to but Doran's Shield is really nice on Garen because his passive. You can't kick him out of a lane.

Nasus should always solo..
Boots starting is better because you'll be much more capable of closing the gap and then spinning.
So you're recommending IE instead of 2x Doran's + brut?
I can see it giving a better mid-late advantage, but so expensive :<

It's totally worth it. IE on Garen gives such an amazing damage boost as soon as you get it to your autos and especially your spin (which is more of a damage source than autoattacks on Garen). The buildup on it doesn't suck either which is another reason why it's so good. Getting an IE is better than upgrading Brut into a Ghostblade. It's just more damage, more crit, it buffs your spins so much and you don't have to worry about damage at all until your done getting your tanky items.

Building Triforce on Yi works well when you start facing off against people who have seen a lot of Yi because it allows you to have a stronger initial burst before they CC you. But if you're just facing off against nerds who don't know how to counter Yi, building conventional straight up attack is better.
Trust me, I figured that out when I was smurfing.
