So, tell me the exact items you use to get 3.9k hp and 150 resistances?

Mercs, RoA, Rylais, Lich Bane, Sunfire, Abyssal.
Might be 134 armor instead of 150 but whatever. Try killing a champ with those hp and res stats that moves with 470 movement speed for 10 sek and has a flash

Nope, that still won't work because you'll have just 100 MR and 130~ armor.
Add in a banshee's and you'll have that exaggerated 150 resistances.
Now lets see how much AP that is.
80+80+70+100 = 330 AP.
330 AP in a what, 1.5k build? You should have that much in a 6k build.
And considering skarner's ratios, that'll add barely any damage.

I'm not saying you should be building everything ap that has 4 ap abilities. I'm saying you shouldn't build those champs on Ad or Hybrid.
If you go Ad or Hybrid on skarner you end up having ONLY that first Q scaling with ad. Meaning only that skill can do a bit of damage and we know that skarner is underpowered and can't really ignore any chances of dealing damage.
I also know that this build is expensive for small effect but dude, It's Skarner. He's underpowered. (though, not bad.)
Okay, so your build is 16000 gold.
310 Ability power is fucking pitiful in a 16000 build. Not to mention you have NO spell pen.
310 Ability power should be gained in a 6000 build, not a build nearly 3x more expensive.
And without getting a full build, you'll either be:
A - Squishy as fuck
B - Useless and no damage as fuck

You get a triforce on skarner, then you build tank.
Triforce adds a 200 damage proc on his autoattacks, which happen every time you Q, as well as giving you attack speed.
No 16000 build should have little effect.
Whatever bro, I won 5 Rankeds in a straight with my build and I never died more than once, so it works out, no matter what you say. Those math stuff is pretty neat and nerde but only half as accurate in the game itself.

I really like LoL's interface and UI (except for the seperate lobby and game thing) and the art style is decent enough, but it just feels kind of sluggish and thick compared to HoN's combat and gameplay.
