well considering i played ryze quite a bit
400 damage is if you have like 3.5k mana, and anyone thats relatively tanky (which they will be by then) will laugh at ur new 180 dmg thanks to mres and hp

Ryze lacks strength unless fed imo, if your fed its gg because you can spam a 1000 damage combo 3 times within 5 seconds

Seriously, if you're gonna use that argument, you're basically saying that every single mage does no damage early game. Rarely does someone get an early negatron because it doesn't counter the whole enemy team's damage and it sets back your build a lot. Most people build hp early game.

They are stupid because there is always a champion that can do x better but that's not what the argument was. It is whether or not Ryze can burst and yes he can burst. Not if this champ can do better or that champ has a harder burst.
