I'm always tempted to get AP since 3 of 4 spells scale with it, but then I remember crazy q spam and get ad anyway.
and before you ask why it's bad
ap ez doesn't really have any good source of damage other than his w, but the cooldown is way too long and the missile speed is pretty slow, sure it can hit multiple targets but meh
also having to waste his e to actually deal any damage is just so godamn risky it's not worth it seeing as the cooldown is pretty damn long and you'll probably regret using it when you realize you need it to escape all the time
and the ad ratio on his ult is actually higher than the ap ratio
and the most obvious thing is that his q becomes fucking useless if you go ap

Doesn't really become useless, it scales with some AP (low, ye) and it applies lichbane
Not saying ap ez is good, just pointing that out
All free week Ezreals use their ult to farm or snipe ONLY.
