Yeah I'm just going to save Max and this page from the incoming backlash and leave you with this:

I'm lost. What did CCP fuck up exactly?

They've neglected balance issues going on years now (hybrids and supercaps mainly), sold Incarna on features that don't appear anywhere near complete, the NEX was a waste of time, they caused major GPU issues with the introduction of the CQ (and the only alternative is to stare at a picture of a door), and of course what pissed most people off: the "Greed is Good" article and Hilmar's leaked email that essentially said "Fuck the players, we're going to do whatever random shit we want and they'll love us for it."
They absolutely deserved all the hate they were receiving. I hope the blog Hilmar posted was sincere, I tend to be a pessimist despite my best efforts, so I'll believe they've changed if/when I see it.

-tl;dr snip-
they can call the super nerf whatever they want ("rebalancing")- it's gonna be a weak nerf.
"they caused major GPU issues with the introduction of the CQ (and the only alternative is to stare at a picture of a door)"
I don't know what card you're using but I've never had any problems.
Imo I found docking made my client shit itself more than anything else.

For people with lower end setups and those running multiple clients it was a problem. I never had any problems myself but the loading time would get annoying when I would just dock up for a quick second and then leave.

I will more than likely stick to ship spinning once we get it back and only go to CQ when they add new areas and I have business there.

Like making shady deals in seedy bars.
I wonder what happens when the Multi user environments come. What if an enemy is docked up and you bump into him in the station? I think that they should let us engage in fisticuffs then.

I could of told you that. There's been bugs and imbalances that have been in the game for years now. Clearly CCP is trying to keep everyone interested by implementing random eye-candy shit that is fun for about an hour and then loses it's shine. It's been happening for a long time now, I'm not sure why it's such a surprise to everyone.

I think the whole walking in stations crap is a stupid idea and should have never been talked about let alone thought about. EVE is about internet spaceships not internet Second Life. They should stick to improving spaceships and not worrying about implementing some garbage where you can play a game inside of a game.

They already explained why they do it. They have to do it since people "need" to be able to see their avatar. A picture in the corner of your screen isn't enough.
They do what they must to evolve and I think they are right in doing so. Besides, CCP said that they are shifting focus to our precious space ships. Having the walking in stations thing doesn't mean that the game will turn into a furry sex simulator.
Who is Fighteros Finales on here?
Everyone.

I think you underestimate EVE's community.
I think you underestimate EVE's community.
In one of the Eve Books it talks about the non-gav sex rooms.
Maybe they'll add those:P
I'm becoming increasingly disillusioned with the spaceship side of the game, I guess I've reached the point where getting a new shiny ship isn't the best thing ever, and I just want to move into small scale PVP.
Issue is, of course, that the only fights I find are blobs, when I'm not looking for them.

Me.

The trick is to spread the blobs apart and pick off the retards that chase. It's actually a hell of a lot more fun than you would think. Killing a few frigs or cruisers as their entire blob watches is very satisfying.
Hint: Buy Rupture, shield nano fit it, go nuts.
Encountered my first titan today. He didn't even notice I was there. Thank god for covops cloaks.

AND a goddamn hauler spawn.
I remember my first encounter with a titan. Our fleet got hot dropped by an Erebus that managed to land a good hit on one of our ships with its guns. If it wasn't for its support fleet I don't think it would have actually been much of a problem seeing as we could probably just fly under its guns for the most part.
As for interiors I thought it was a nice touch. But it would be better if they separated it. For example when you dock, you can choose to enter or just stay on the dockside.

You can do that now, you just get to look at a picture of a door, rather than your ship.
Against my better judgment, I want to start playing this again. I know it's boring a lot of the time, but that's okay.
Did we ever get a corporation going? I'm totally fine if I can get a spot as a delivery boy or something like that. :D I like space.
I'm sorry to have to do this to you.

Wow, long ass downtime due to a hardware issue it seems.

Ah, titans are fun.
Here's a picture from my first encounter with titans.

I seen those 2 opening a bridge, of which one in a very unusual location.
I don't know about anyone else, but I seem to be having a terrible time getting evemon to accept my new API key, it keeps rejecting it.

there' something wrong with it, update evemon if you haven't already.
"Hybrid weapons balancing"
They're either going to be horribly overpowered or be just right with some crippling flaw like they eat 100 ammo per shot or something else that makes people never use them.
I really hope they do something with Hybrid turrets but it can't be anything over the top because I know how sensitive the Eve community is going to be over this. Blasters either need some kind of simple damage boost or something similar that actually makes the "hybrid" part useful minus the sucking ass. Railguns perhaps need the same Alpha damage as arty but a higher Rate of fire trading off for higher PG, cap use, etc. These are just some ideas. But I think this would generate a new problem as Minmatar or Amarr pilots could slap on these new buffed guns that would work better on their ships instead. If they buffed the bonuses a bit on Gallente ships while making small changes to the turrets themselves it wouldn't make them better on other ships that aren't supposed to use them and that might work without a huge shitstorm. These kinds of things need a lot of testing.
One of the reasons I quit WoW was to get away from the "lol fotm faggot" because every month the overpowered and underpowered classes would swap places and I hated that bullshit with a passion. As a 4 month old Gallente trained character the last thing I need after that update is being spammed with that crap everytime I blow up an enemy ship in my Thorax/Brutix because the person piloting the ship just sucks ass.
It's been discussed on the eve forums many times and no one has ever come to a solid agreement on one thing. I think any changes to Hybrids are bound to cause butthurt somewhere down the line.
Meh, who cares what some bitter idiots on the official EVE forums says, they literally get pissed off about everything, you could hand them a billion ISK for free and they'd still find something to complain about AND cancel their subscriptions.
Hybrids (especially rail guns, imo blasters just need a bit of a range buff) need to be buffed, there's a reason they're rarely used in comparison with guns and lasers.
Yeah, I think blasters just need one simple buff. Increasing range, or damage. Maybe a small boost on the PG on Gallente ships because the high PG required, maybe to fit one more gun, or better modules. Railguns I really can't think of anything solid, but as I said one thing that might work is having the same Alpha damage as Artillery but with a higher rate of a fire because of cap, PG, etc
Well, one thing that really pissed me off was when people were cancelling their subscriptions and had that massive Jita protest just because of the "greed is good" quote and the hints of micro transactions and none of that had even happened yet. I mean it took CCP to officially say in a direct specific quote that they will not be doing that just to get people to shut the hell up about it. They lost like 2000 subscribers or something ridiculous just for that...
