Second one was right, the key difference is EVE/CCP allows it I love it
You'll need like an hour to read this, but it's a really good writeup on BoB's collapse. Shows how absurdly complicated the metagame really is. I suggest it.

Lost a Cane in blood watch, fuck those web drones why do they have to be triggers, WHY.

The best part is, this is still happening. Bob's not destroyed yet, but they backed out of the system they were in a little bit. Goonswarm took it over, iirc. Bob's been waiting for a good time to try and take their system back. Problem is, Goonswarm just reset standings with TEST, which is a genius/dick thing for them to do because we're in neighboring systems. There's going to be some intense PvP for a while, until GS gets bored again. If Bob pushes in during our skirmishes, it'll get interesting. Also, I finally discovered just how scary Goonswarm is. One of their recruiting posters says "My ship costs less than your ammunition. My modules were all picked off by rats. I'm not even sure if my guns are loaded. And I'm about to ruin your life." They get like 100 newbies, give them all shitty rifters, and just throw them at enemies as meatshields while the cruisers just WRECK them. It's not funny when you're on the recieving end. They have a couple shuttles fitted out for pure speed who only exist to intercept missiles and torps/bombs.

I played during summer, but stopped because my internship was wearing me out enough. Now I'm halfway through a semester, and even focusing on classes, I still have a lot of time to burn. I loved playing this game, because there were so many directions to go. I was a director for a small corp, which was pretty interesting, but I unsubbed shortly after taking that on. I think my favorite pastime was trading.

That way when you have time to start playing again, you'll be ready to do more stuff. If you join Dreddit or a bigger corp, most of them tend to have divisions dedicated to specific pasttimes. For example, if you enjoy scamming idiots (which, let's face it, is hilarious), they have a dedicated scamming division who can teach you and help you with stuff. If you like trading, for example, they'll give you a fair amount of money (once they trust you, of course) and let you have your way. We have a couple guys who run all the PI stuff, brings in a couple hundred million a week. I love how corps work and how everyone has a role and can contribute nicely. Makes me happy. <3

Now I can actually keep it going, and I have a lot of free time in the afternoons and evenings, and especially on weekends. I'll definitely see about getting into a bigger corp, though.
They have a couple shuttles fitted out for pure speed who only exist to intercept missiles and torps/bombs.
lolwut?
That confused me as well. How does one fit a shuttle, moreover, how does said shuttle intercept a missile in EVE? The closest thing to intercepting missiles in this game would be using a wall of smartbombing ships in the path of the missiles, which would be difficult at best to maintain during a fight.

Although I was told that by some Goon, so the chances that he was trolling are like 100%. sorry. ): [editline]15th October 2011[/editline] motherfucker so we put two guys in charge of titan production and gathered the necessary funds. then one guy left and the other was in charge, which was fine because he could handle it. butthen an ex CEO got wind we were building a titan and ordered the tower to be seiged. and then the guy that was kicked out who was building the titan in the first place held the damn thing for ransom. he wanted 30b for it (and it's like 50b to make) and we refused, so they seiged the tower. titan got coat hanger'd. ): Bummer.
Out of interest, what corps are you guys in? [editline]15th October 2011[/editline] Page king.......... Need to say something meaningful..... Testicles. That is all.

Should I make another Google doc for people to post their stuffs in?
Definitely on the verge of resubscribing.
I got an offer via e-mail for my alt. It was 30 days game time for $4.95 if I resub him. Hmmm....

I was a mere pubbie two months ago and I was close to quitting EVE since all I did was do boring missions and mine a bit and then bam. The entire game changed for me. I went from being another member of the EVE University hiding in stations as one guy Wardecs us. To having several corps and mercenaries after me and participating in huge battles. It is like I'm playing a different game now.
Thats why i asked the question earlier, I really would like to be a member of the GoonWaffe, prerequisites?
