I thought It'd be good to read some beginners guides until I'm finally able to play the game but everything is confusing and I feel like I'll never understand how this game works :(
The first step to being successful in EVE is to give me all your money. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
FUCK why must I have an incredible weakness to games involving space damn it... Does anyone know if they have that returning players thing where you pay a lowered price for your subscription if you come back after a long time of not playing? I really want to play this game now. damn it

I didn't know how to deliver a manufacturing job for a mission and almost quit, but I eventually figured it out. You just have to jump in and stick with it.

It's silly to make a decision like this on aesthetics, but the general look and feel of the game, as well as the music was enough to keep me interested while I was still incredibly confused. At the time I liked the idea of mmos quite a lot, but I couldn't take fantasy games seriously, at least none of the ones around then.
the music was enough to keep me interested
Eve has sound?
Eve has sound?
I really like the EVE ambient music, gives you a feeling of the emptyness and the "You're alone against the universe" feeling.
Interesting, seems like CCP are slowly (NOTE: SLOWLY) working towards multiplayer station enviroments. I asked on the forums about the broken animations in the CQ. Such as the legs flipping out when you stop walking and a dev replied with:
In the original CQ the animation actual drove the locomotion of the character which made it very easy to maintain smooth transitions. In this new version this is not the case as our network locomotion model was introduced into the release and that inherently has to drive the locomotion of the character. I agree that there are a few rough edges there and hope we get some time to improve them
Perhaps not that interesting. But it is for me since I do enjoy making animations.

Ugh how long does it CCP take to answer my ticket. It's been two days and every day that passes I want to play this game more and more. God I feel like a 10 year old waiting for christmas.
Agh, EVE is extremely tempting right now. And with the 60 days trial, you could way too easily make enough for a Plex. But I guess these 60 days trial invites are kind of valuable? Though, if someone would be so very kind to spare a key, unless you have other plans with it. I would be very grateful to be able to try out the game again!
Think it's worth it to come back for Crucible?
PvP Merlin with AutoTurrets and Afterburners represent!
Think it's worth it to come back for Crucible?
Yea man, A lot of balancing and issues were fixed and the game is a lot more to look at now... The choice is yours.
Think it's worth it to come back for Crucible?
Yes
Can someone toss me a trial?
PM me your email.
quit holding corp because of corp tax on incursions, NPC corp has higher tax aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Make own corp Tax 0% ??? PROFIT!!! (Literally)
Set up a few warps for an agent mission. Alt tabbed to fuck around with my radio and browse a bit. Come back and I'm chilling on an acceleration gate with 10+ npcs waylaying my thrasher. I ended up living and killing them all but my ship had prolly ~50 structure left. I love this game. So epic at times.
This is why I don't alt tab unless I'm in station.
Just started playing this game, it's hella awesome

Okay guys, is there a (recent) guide out on making enough money to buy PLEX? Preferably in the time-frame of a month.

CCP responded to my ticket on the same day but it somehow didn't send me an email. Didn't check the ticket on the support page until today. Now I can finally play. I'm buying some gametime right now, how much should I buy until I can buy ingame? 3 Months?
Buy one month and see if you like it.
