I've been hipped from this game for a week and I was about to boy it, and now I discover It has a 60 day trial.
Does anyone wants to share his trial ?
I've heard that the better way to start is joining a corporation, any suggestion about how to find a good one ?
I missed in the first post some lines about how to start, how to be a logistic ship, a drone ship, interceptor, etc.
EDIT: Good manuals for the first post:

Tis a shame none of my friends even like computer games, much less are interested in eve.
I already love this game. I'm halfway through the tutorial and a friendly player gave me a "Vexor" for free. Everyone is so nice and helpful.
Incursions. Don't aim for a PLEX straight out of a trial though, you probably won't make enough and you won't have any fun doing it.
I have an account, I just stopped playing a while ago. I trained a bunch of skills though, If that helps.
Oh... and what the hell is an incursion???

You, my friend, have met a rare individual. Always assume people in EVE are looking to screw you over and kill you, take your money, or both.

Uh oh, a whole vexor.
But seriously, it's nice as a new player to receive gifts like those, as they are huge and out of reach for you, but terribly small amounts to older players.
I probably spent two vexors worth of money buying ammo for my thrashers last week.

Keep playing, this game will make you a cynical bastard real quick.

That sounds terrifying but it won't keep me from playing.

Well I already guessed it's nothing special but still nice. I mean a mount in <insert random mmo> is nothing special too but can make a new player happy, right?

I survived League of Legends. Case closed.

Never played that game, can you invest real money into it to buy in-game items (money to PLEX, PLEX to isk, isk to whatever ships/mods you want to buy), only to have those items taken from you when you're either scammed or blown up in space?

No but the community is a bunch of unfriendly offensive childish faggots. So I can handle cynical bastards.
"GOD WHAT ARE YOU A SCRUB GOD YOUR SHIT."
i hated every part of LoL.
But yea if you get lucky like bulaba and get a stupid CEO give you all of his BPO's you can become a god.
Okay I've got a question now, should I sell the Vexor? I want to be a merchant and not going to be focused on combat. Is this even a viable option? Or should I just keep it until I learned all the necessary skills?

Trade is good if you know the routes and Generally how the Eve Economy works its really hard to start off first but overtime you should see a progression. Some new traders begin with hauling items between regions, selling them with a good profit at the regional mission hub.

#1 rule dont do courier missions
Get all those silly mistakes out your system now.
I did a few months ago. Cost me my command ship.
Oh yea most def. If I'm not mining an astroid belt with a bunch of other players I glue myself to the screen after that encounter.
I got my friend addicted to this. All he does is sit in Jita marveling at all the people blowing eachother up by the stations. :v:

You can literally just go system hopping pasting "Can someone please lend 7m isk plz? I'm out of isk and need money for my clone. :(" and you'll eventually get enough money for PLEX with a trial.
That sounds terrifying but it won't keep me from playing.
Wasn't meant to, just a warning.

Keep it. I've never done the trading thing but from what I've heard you're going to need a decent bit of starting capital. Missions are a good way for new players to start bringing in some cash and the Vexor is a good ship to do it in. You'll also want to fit a destroyer for salvaging so you can get some extra dosh. When it comes to the trading game you don't even necessarily need a ship to do it; some people sit in a station all day and rake in loads of isk. Talk to some of the other people here if you're really dedicated to the trading idea.
I was thinking about re-subbing, i had alot of fun talking to some people ingame (Naofa if anyone remembers me :v:) just having to re-apply to dreddit is a pain and im not sure about doing it, especially if i don't enjoy it :v: i doubt i could get all my stuff (I know its nothing to most vets, but my omen is my baby) out without getting blow'ded up.

You should get combat skills up at least, PvP is this game's thing

You could say, high sec trading is a form of pvp.
I miss high sec. Ironically High Sec is more dangerous for me compared to null sec. :v:
-10.00 sec status makes highsec rather difficult.
Also: HUEGE PELXE SAELE!
A whole $5 off when you buy 6.

I have 0.45 sec status.
It is just that mercenaries are everywhere. They are after me! :tinfoil:
Gah, I can't reactivate my account because none of my character names are working. Submitted a petition, let's hope CCP moves fast.

Wow, that's impressive. Problem solved before I even got that last post through.
Massive fight in U0W-DR, 1100 Pilots in local at peak. AAA Dread fleet Self-Destructed. Will post BR when possible.
Spoiler: PL Owned for over an hour and a half straight.

Was fun PL was helping us, then tried to turn on us, most of us got inside the pos though.

If by "Helping" you mean shooting you last... :D
Was epic battle, though.
Okay, I've made a new character to work within the Crucible alterations instead of adapting my failed prior character. I want to get into exploration, and I'm still in the middle of the tutorial. When I'm done, what's the path I should go on/skills I should start training?
Your race's frigate to 5, the four different astrometric skills to a high level, train into a covert ops frigate

I don't get why people SD their caps in fights they know they're going to lose. I get it, deny them the KM, but if it was me I would keep firing to the very end, if I'm going down I'm not going down without a fight. Either way I lose my shit, but I would rather at least try to take something else down with me.
