Go into any asteroid belt find a miner and try to ransom him, it works best in high sec, if a box pops up saying it's a dangerous act just click yes, it just means they can shoot you back and miners have no guns :).
No no nonononono bad bad advice. What you're referring to is "can flipping" which is where you steal from their jetcans and poop out your own, enticing them to fire on you or steal their gear back. The hope is that your combat frig can kill their mining barge before they know what's going on. If you just shoot them, you die instantly to concord.
Which is better for rifter pirating, high or lowsec
Piracy, by definition, is lowsec only. Highsec "piracy" is just griefing miners.
[03:56:48] DeathEarth > Lt Shard is not a good guy, probe and steal the mission items, salvage and then try to kill you in the mission. just take care, everyone
This one is a keeper.

Some dude left a container with a module in it and named it free shit. Then he gunned down everyone that looted it.
Got my Badger and Osprey Blown up today. (Including my capsules) I think I'll just stay in High-sec..... forever ;~;
http://i.imgur.com/uPYI8.jpg Welcome to G-G
Badger
That might be your problem, there. Also, the Osprey isn't exactly prime PVP material. Still, don't let that discourage you. From my limited roams around low sec, it has been quite fun. Just takes practice. Unless you were using the Osprey to mine, in which case totally stay in high sec. Don't mine/haul in low sec without support.

I'm not THAT much of a noob. Oh well, I got a generous donation of like 10mil to buy a new Osprey and someone gave me one of their spare Badgers. I enjoy the Corp that I'm in.
I saw something like this outside one of the starter academies. Some dude left a container with a module in it and named it free shit. Then he gunned down everyone that looted it.
That's against the rules in the newbie systems vOv
That's against the rules in the newbie systems vOv
Something was happening because there were player wrecks all around the containter.
Don't sell yourself short. You were mining in an Osprey in lowsec, that's as noob as they come :v:
Woops.
Don't sell yourself short. You were mining in an Osprey in lowsec, that's as noob as they come :v:
Actually no, when I first started playing I took a solo osprey into nullsec to mine, somebody jumped me and I some how miraculously made it back into highsec unscathed, Osprey and all. Looking back I was probably the luckiest noob out there at the time.... [editline]6th December 2011[/editline]
Something was happening because there were player wrecks all around the containter.
BurnBlackJay is right, that is against the rules in the newbie systems, he could get banned for doing that if somebody were to report him.
Any FPers got extensive experience with incursions?
server's dead.
How into PVP? I have a Rifter with t2 guns n shit.

I kinda miss the diemost's spaec camoo.
How into PVP? I have a Rifter with t2 guns n shit.
1. Fly rifter into lowsec. 2. ??? 3. Learn.
1. Fly rifter into lowsec. 2. ??? 3. Learn.
It's pretty stupid to take a frigate into lowsec because gate/station guns will take you out as soon as you aggress, what you might want to do is jump out your implants and fly to nullsec, and kill miners/transport ships. Go for the regions populated by retards (nulli in period basis, IRC in cobalt edge)
Any FPers got extensive experience with incursions?
What do you want to know?
How to actually get into a goddamn fleet I never get into fleets ;_;
How to actually get into a goddamn fleet I never get into fleets ;_;
Fly a logi and you'll get into incursion fleets easily.
It's pretty stupid to take a frigate into lowsec because gate/station guns will take you out as soon as you aggress, what you might want to do is jump out your implants and fly to nullsec, and kill miners/transport ships.
Fly a logi and you'll get into incursion fleets easily.
which reminds me, can oniero's actually get into fleets now?
Fly a logi and you'll get into incursion fleets easily.
But what if I don't want to fly logi?
Then you shall burn with the rest of the infidels. Without logi everyone dies. I fly logi in sleeper ops sometimes. The sheer challenge of keeping up in a C6 with 3 basilisks covering about 12 T3s is awesome.
But what if I don't want to fly logi?
Then be prepared to wait a while or not get into fleets at all, unless you fly a vindi/mach/t3.
02:25:18 Combat Ogre II hits Core Rear Admiral for %474 damage (Wrecking!) Anyone else getting a percentage sign in front of the damage amount when their drone gets a crit?
