anyone knows when CCP usually do the "re-activate the game for 5$" promotion?
i wanna try the game again but i'd be upset if suddenly at Christmas they'll do that promotion after i activated for 15$.

Pve Ishtar wise, what would you guys recommend? Passive shield or dual mar setup? I've tried both and cannot decide which is best.

Goddamnit, I can't play now. When i open the client it tells me that the version is "incompatible (protocol)".
So I go to run the repair tool. That cock blocks me too, telling me to look at some damnfool log in my appdata folder.
I also can't redownload, as it gives me the error "target payload not found".
Fuck.
I realised the extended trial list in the OP might be a bit outdated.

Hey I don't know how much you guys like markets and other merchant stuff, but I love playing with different get rich quick schemes in eve. I'm from the programming section, and I'm sort of curious if anyone would use this application I'm considering creating:
Eve tracks regional market statistics about items sold, but does not track station-specific item sales. If a merchant was to establish a market presence in a new region and wished to participate in lucrative markets he has no idea where the markets are most lucrative. It may be the case that the majority of trade takes place in a lowsec or dangerous system in that region, and the merchant could waste his resources attempting to capitalize on the market from a distant region. This tool addresses that problem by charting the sales of items per month at specific stations. This potentially allows the merchant to make more revenue or avoid costly mistakes by placing bid orders at stations with high instantaneous sell transaction rates.

Limitations:
I can't get any information about current markets unless I get it from user specific market transactions. (Traditionally part of the full API key, now customizable)
I can't compare market data between players unless it is sent to a central server. (Something I'm willing to consider)
