As a longtime Tengu pilot I can say this, you get what you pay for.
T2 fit mach is pretty awesome. You could make either work, but the Machariel needs great gunnery skills to shine.
You're a ways off from t2 autos but the mach is more likely to get you into an incursion fleet afaik.

I used to use eve-kill exclusively, but they've deleted tens of thousands of old mails and have so many bugs nowadays...
I'm looking to start playing Eve again after god knows how long. Where's the cheapest place to buy a month and how would I go about joining small pvp fleets?

One day isn't really that long considering how long other companies will sometimes take. They have a lot of petitions and other stuff to sort through, some of which is higher priority than your petition.

I fly incursions in shiny ships so I get in pretty quick.
I have no idea how long it takes for those who aren't as fortunate (start incursions in a legion/ nightmare to boot)

If that's the case then it doesn't matter if it takes a couple days because he'll be getting all that SP anyway. I don't think that is, in fact, the case though.

That is the case, it seems. When we went to dive on those titans, I did two things every semi-intelligent suicide pilot does, strip all the faction mods from my Machariel, and make sure my clone was updated. Of course, I got two-shotted by an avatar towards the end of the bumping phase. A solid minute of slowboating out of bubbles gave me time enough to open my character sheet and post my lossmail, also giving me time to notice that my clone was now an alphaclone. Fuck.
The lost skilltime comes to about 2 weeks with implants. It's also JDC5 so if Shadoo so much as thinks the words "Move op" I'm gonna kill someone.
Anyone for trading DoD: Source for a month and a 21 day trial? :v:
