hey you fuckers, chill out
let's just fly our internet spaceships okay
I find that Incursion really took a shit on nullsec space. They've nerfed the sanctums, about to nerf jumpbridges and soon will buff mission rewards. Are they trying to draw people back to highsec?
On another note I'm gonna train Caldari frigate V so I can finally fly some Manticore and some Crow. Tired of the big bulky ships, frigates are all like woosh. Should be great fun.
No, they're trying to make nullsec hard again, like it should be.
It's just a bit too easy when your most difficult moment of the afternoon is having to take a jump bridge to a system a few jumps away to continue ratting when a lone neutral enters local.
Well true enough, I kind of agree on the jumpbridge nerf myself, but how does nerfing sanctums and buffing agents make nullsec harder? It simply gives less reasons to go into null, not to mention this:
Agent quality has been removed. All agents will have a barrier of entry set at -20, and a payout ratio of +20. Hopefully this will let people live where they want, instead of crowding into Motsu. On a sidenote, hundreds of agents rejoice at the thought of their life finally having meaning.
Agent divisions have been simplified. Turns out asking for a combat mission and receiving a mining mission annoyed people, who would have thought? Instead, each division will give a single type of mission, so you actually get what you ask for.
Which further encourages going to grind level 4s back in highsec.
Quick question, though I may've answered it myself already. Is it possible to have a cloaked Fleet booster? I mean a battlecruiser with fleet support modules. My guess is since you're cloaked you may not be able to activate them. Asking because I'm training all the leadership skills with my second account to use it as a fleet booster.
No, you can't activate the relevant modules while cloaked. I recommend either POS'ing up (see 8 gang link claymore) or making it unprobable.
Nullsec system owners should actually be able to put cannons(on gates) and hire npc security into systems, which would be cost quite alot
and also "capital/fortess systems" where they could anchor stations around planets or something and more cannons/devices that could be put in space
it would make 0.0 more contested with different alliances since it would be a huge isk sink to add cool stuff to your controlled area and if you wouldnt youd get rolled over etc.
Right now adding anything that makes defenders more capable is a bad idea. Sov warfare with pre-set timers and dozens of structures to grind is already skewed enough in the defender's favor.
make black ops "mini-t3" basically give it 1 subsystem
a)small ship field support
b)big stealth bomber
c)something like it is currently but better
also covert cloak
Gonna take me 18 days to train up for my drake to solo L4's, that is after the 15 days until i get my hulk.
I think I'll subscribe during the summer. Thorny got me the game long ago and along with it I got quite a bit of gametime. Around 50 or so. (30 for the account and 21 or something from his buddy program)
It's quite expensive but I really liked it and I have been wanting to get back in ever since.
$13-15 a month, not all that expensive.
Captain's Quarters got updated on Duality, but it's currently in VIP mode.
I think i buy EVE. looks like i game i would enjoy and 5€ is very cheap. What happens after the first month? Do I have to buy a gametime card like in World of Warcraft or do I pay automatically each month when I bought it over steam?
you pay each month, but you can buy a time card (and sell it if you want isk)
Or buy game time if you have isk, so you can earn enough in-game to pay for your account.

Won't that result in you having to grind for a month just to pay for another month? It costs 730 million ISK.
Also, the amount of ISK that I have in my account can let me unlock my account for 4 hours. :v:
Actually plexes are only half that, at around 365.
And the isk in your account doesn't determine that, that option is available to all unsubbed accounts. If you don't reactivate during those 4 hours, you'll need to petition if you want to activate a plex in game.

730 million is for 60 days, roughly, buy 2 30 day GTC's, use one, sell one to make capital for heavy investments.

I've been thinking of joining SA for a while so that I can join their GoonWaffe as well. :v:
So I might as well do that. Still, no time for EVE right now. But I might buy a month or so during the summer.

as far as I knew you could only purchase 60 day GTCs and then convert that code into two PLEXes.

Making ~370mil is easy when you've been established in the game for 8 or 9 months. If you make at least 30mil a day, you can afford a PLEX before the end of a subscription period---and that goal can be met, but it might take longer depending on what you do and how well/quickly you do it.
play somer blink
lose all your isk
I won a PLEX on my first SOMER lottery.

Would've been nice if I could pay the subscription in USD rather than € which is significantly more expensive.
Does anyone know of a good place that sells time card/code things in $? I take it that they work for me even though I am in Europe since well, the game has one server.
www.deepspacesupply.com
I bought a 60 day GTC from there, accepts all forms of currency.
If you're a first time buyer the verification process may take up to 24 hours.

Seems like most places sell them at an equal price. Across USD and EUR. Which is still good compared to Steam and whatnot.
They have to sell them at equal price. CCP does not sell PLEX in single units. You have to purchase bundles. The lowest you can spend on the EVE site is $34.95, and that gets you two PLEX.
If you could buy an EVE Time Code elsewhere for $30, then everybody would prefer to go there instead of to the EVE site.
What it really comes down to are your available payment methods.

Well that is still good. Will probably buy some game time after all my national tests and whatnot.
I prefer buying my codes at Shattered Crystal, they accept almost anything and they're just as cheap as everyone else.
