i don't understand why, when i show people this game, they flip their shit when i warp through a planet/station when they play world of warcraft where they walk through everything but the world.
It's just immersion breaking thats all.
Happy National Icelandic Day guys! Or as known as Þjóðhátíðardagurinn.
It's just immersion breaking thats all.
but there hasn't been one time that i've warped through something where someone doesn't say anything.
no one says a word when you walk through the legs of some giant golem in wow.
I believe when you're in warp, you're sort of out of phase with everything else, thus making it possible to warp through planets and stars.
I don't know what WoW's excuse is unless everyone is ghosts or some shit.

Eeh, I wanted to believe something like that but I knew it bull.
Hey guys, I'm looking to plan towards a ship I can fuck around with Incursions in, and blast through general low-highsec anomalies with. I'm finally able to fly a Vagabond, will that do? Anyone got a good fit I should use?
"Fuck around in Incursions", that's a good one.
Incursions are like Sleepers, you need good, organized logistic capable fleets.
Alright fuck Incursions then, just highsec exploration - I'm bored to fuck of flying Maelstroms and Hurricanes, I want something more interesting.

It's a game, all of it is bull
Get a Tengu than, you can go fast and fuck shit up, plus it can easily be adapted to do other things, like exploration.
Tengu rather than a Loki, considering I'm Minmatar?
[editline]17th June 2011[/editline]
Does a Loki have to be armour-tanked?

passive shield loki is better i believe
Sounds good to me. I don't have enough cash to fund one, plus modules at the moment though :(
Having a Merlin sitting and waiting for me in a space station is pretty nice. :3:
Just need to wait 4 hours until I can use it. :v:

If ccp would make a special visual effect that happens when you go through stuff, it would make it more believable, instead of like it is now where you just see through the model.

Steal a POS. That's what some people here do to fund their T3 habit.
Heh, just noticed that my avatar kinda fits.

...Me?
I was referring to Halo.
But if you did it too, then yes, you.
:saddowns:
How much roughly would I expect to pay to maintain my own small POS tower in hi sec space?
Seven blowjobs a month
Playing with a friend, he got blown up and I got away safely. :v:
Fucker lost his Condor, so now he's getting a new ship.

iirc 80m

Run the numbers yourself though, PI fuel has been wild lately

If you didn't phase through things, pieces of dust would pierce through your ship along with other small objects.
I didn't say the actual mechanism should be redone, I said there should be something like a distortion on your screen when you're going through stuff so it would be apparent that you're phasing through it.
Are we gonna discuss the flawed physics of eve again? I'd rather not.
It wouldn't surprise me if all ships had a minute jump drive to avoid collisions with planets etc.
This just reminded me of a while back when I was thinking how stupid it was that I could pull up right next to a star but my shields would start going down when being hit by a railgun/blaster/autocannon/whatever. Also the other day when I thought of the fact that there are ships flying around with basically an automatic version of this big beastly mother fucker strapped to them.

Eve is big. Go on sisi and look at your ship from a balcony. Thats the only way to properly display exactly how massive things in eve are.

> star
> intense heat and radiation dispersed in evenly arranged concentric circles
> laser
> intense heat and radiation focused on a single point
> autocannon/railgun/blaster
> massive force focused on a single point
See the difference?
