That's because it's from E-Uni which is geared towards newer players that can't fit every T2 module.
I may be a bit late, but am I the only one that feels betrayed after hearing that Dust 514 would be a PS3 EXCLUSIVE game? It was bad enough CCP wasn't putting it on the PC, but to put it on the PS3 over the Xbox 360 just made no fucking sense at all. Especially considering that more than likely 60% or more of EvE subscribers don't even OWN a PS3. They originally stated they wanted to expand to new venues and they would be brining it to the consoles. But the PS3 is just one. I dunno maybe it's just because I don't have a PS3 (but to be fair I don't have a 360 either)
It was never going to be on the PC, even from the very start. They have good reasons to put it on the platform they chose. Firstly, consoles would give access to an entire new userbase and introduce them to the EVE franchise. Secondly, they chose the PS3 over the Xbox 360 because Microsoft have really stupid rules and regulations regarding updates. Just look at TF2 on the Xbox 360, that was ridiculous. CCP have stated that Sony were very open to experimentation and are flexible. Believe it or not, a lot of people have PS3s.
It's for PVP, chances are you're going to get blown up, plus he wanted it to dick around I doubt he wants to get into PVP super-seriously, and if he does all he has to do is get the T2 versions of those modules or something.
That and i don't really have the money to loose something with t2 stuff in it.

A lot of EvE players are going to want to play DUST and now they can't unless they buy a PS3. CCP should have put current EvE players first, and new players second.
Could anyone hit me up with a 21 day trial code please? Also, if anyone is in the GMT+1 timezone, give or take a few hours I'd really appreciate it if I could tag along, I'm interested in pirating :buddy:
PM me your email
done [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] thanks :buddy:
What's a fast way to start earning ISK as a newbie?
Add me to that list of people giving out extended trial invites please.

Three options; 1) Do missions, level fours only take about a month to get to and pay a lot more than any of the previous missions. 2) Do loads of PVP, and win, getting a rifter is cheap and you can do loads of things with it for PVP. 3) Buy a PLEX And no mining isn't an option, at least for newbies. Also since you're a newbie, try joining EVE University, here's the link: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Applying_to_EVE_University They will help you get into the game, they'll answer your questions, etc.
Thanks for the help, how many missions do you reckon it will take me to get the skills needed for PVP, so I can branch out from PVE?
You gain skills from training, which is automatic. 24 hours a day, as long as you keep your queue topped up.
They train automatically when you put them in your queue, the skills you use for PVE can be used for PVP too, E-UNI will help you with that, they will give you free skillbooks and reimburse you if you spend a million ISK or less on skillbooks.
Thanks, just applied now.
Can't wait for Tuesday. (Assuming that is when Incarnia lands with the new player experience) I haven't played an MMO (with a monthly fee) since World of Warcraft, which I quit a few weeks prior to the release of the burning crusade.
PS3s aren't that expensive anymore you know.
$300+ is pretty fucking expensive. But yeah I can't wait either. I'm gonna see if I can't get my friend to let me play my old account for a little bit to see what WIS is like. [sp]I 'gave' him my account for $500[/sp] :v:
$300+ is pretty fucking expensive.
It's easy to find them for less than 100 used.
Added both of you guys to the OP.
I haven't played EVE Online in forever because a friend had told me that Russians had taken over, something called "The Red Fleet" or something along those lines. Is this true?
I haven't played EVE Online in forever because a friend had told me that Russians had taken over, something called "The Red Fleet" or something along those lines. Is this true?
Not really
making isk for newbies: 1)find a good wh corp pref. in a big coalition/alliance 2)salvage and scoop loot from sleeper sites and ofcourse pvp ops (coaltion raids that have succeeded, quite a few times we didnt have enough men to haul out all the loot lmao) 3)get large amounts of isk and never pay to play
Apparently the two teams in the EVE Alliance finals were allies? That is pretty funny.
That was just pathetic, literally the most scripted thing ever seen in a video game.
I don't see the problem/why people are sperging out about it
It's not like they set out to fight each other, they just won all the matches in their brackets. I say good for them.

Also, is it just me or do the PLEX thingys cost as much as two months but only give you one?
incursions = loadsadosh
All the bitching about the AT final is pretty funny. Both teams made it there legitimately, it's not a big deal.
I haven't played EVE Online in forever because a friend had told me that Russians had taken over, something called "The Red Fleet" or something along those lines. Is this true?
I'm in red fleet :D
I'm in red fleet :D
Then I truly feel sorry for them.
