Again the problem isn't the vanity items, the problem is IF they decide to sell OP items for $.
Even if they do it's not going to stop me from playing.
In fact, it'd be interesting to try and acquire a decisive edge over someone who spent money on an overpowered ship from the cash shop.
To be honest, fighting people who shell out real money for "advantages" and kicking their asses just the same will be ten times as rewarding for me. Come at me bros.

I start the trial, get blown up by barely visible drones on the second military tutorial mission because my ship wont stop firing at a random meteor, I lose my repair module and then lose the mission again, get lost for aeons trying to find a single other living person, and now everyone is rioting about in game items being to expensive...
Gonna go ahead and back out of this game slowly.
I my video card hates interior parts of this game, I keep blue-screening while on the station, I have everything on low! I'm fine in space, I could fly around there for hours, but when in a station, nope.

You missed his point, people can still log in even if their sub has been cancelled. If someone has 3 months remaining on their subscription, they can cancel it today and still play for those 3 months. Once their sub expires, they can no longer log in.

No, I didn't. I blatantly ignored it. It's pure hypocrisy for cancelling your subscription and continuing to play the game, if you're cancelling in protest of the game.
It's like protesting McDonalds and saying "I'll just eat there for the rest of this month, but after that, no more!".

Unless the people who canceled their subs are logging in to protest, then it's not really hypocrisy. CCP doesn't refund canceled subs, so they're making the most of it until their time is up.
To clarify, they could be joining the mass protests that have been going on in all the market hubs.
I hope they make it so you can buy skill points. I'd rather spend 10$ now and get my skill points then 15$ and wait for a whole month.
And people bitching about the shop, yes it sucks but you need to remember eve is the ONLY mmo that gives you FREE expansion packs.
I am just worried the effect that the store will have on the price of PLEX. With people buying PLEX to get stuff in the store, there will be less PLEX which means a higher ISK price.

CCP haven't expressed at any time that they will be selling "better" ships, but that's what people think. What they are protesting about is those leaked things, what CCP's plans are etc.

The fear is the ships being sold for aurum will be better than those on the market, so much so that you need to buy ships with aurum to remain competitive. Think about it logically, what would be the point of selling ships for aurum if the ones you buy with isk are as good or better?
