Oh man, I just won at EVE.
I got disconnected [I]during a C6 sleeper op[/I], and when I logged back in, my Basilisk was [I][B]STILL RUNNING LOGISTICS.[/B][/I]
It was still juicing our other Basi, shield repping the Sleeper's primary, my targets were still locked, and my drones were still under my control.

What did we learn kids? Don't fly untanked industrials with millions in your cargo hold.
The best thing would be if they at one point, in a distant future would make it possible for you to walk around in your ship. Not the entire thing, just the bridge and you can see some crew members scattered around the place. Would've been so great to walk around whilst you are flying around.
I doubt it will ever happen though.

I'm pretty sure the fiction states that the pilot is in his capsule 24/7 even within his ship, and controls everything with their mind, which is why skill books affect the operation of the ship so much. There are still some crew members, but not nearly as much if there weren't a capsuleer at the helm.
e.g. for a cruiser with a standard bridge, there would be around a hundred, while with a capsuleer there would only be 10 or so
On the other hand what would be really awesome is if EVE had proper physics and your ship's speed would not be absolute, and instead would be measured in acceleration.
Imagine how trippy it would be to fight in an interceptor.

get someone to send you a 21 day trial and then if you buy it off steam it adds 30 days to the trial. So you have 51 days to play without starting any subscriptions, you only pay the steam price.
