So I made a trial account separate from steam, and I've been playing that. If I buy EVE through Steam, will I still be able to use that account, or is it going to want me to make some new EVE account?
You get the same login screen with the Steam version as the non-Steam version. So yes you can use the same account.

I don't know, how about skills to make those ships actually useful to you so that when you subscribe you don't pilot a ship which will only get blown up because you have terrible skills?

I've bought EVE off of Steam once and I think it makes you create a new account. Once you have that new account though, you should be able to play on the Steam EVE (StEVE) with any account, but obviously the one you created when purchasing it will have the time.
I just finished watching the whole Clear Skies series. Great movies, I strongly recommend them to any EVE fan.

OK, the Codebreaker and Analyzer have to be interchanged but it has a tank vs Guristas of 512*. Its stable with the tank and salvager running. MWD off.

guristas area is worst 0.0 exploration place
and mwd works in most if not all deadspace pockets now
and mag sites in sansha or blood raider 0.0 are usually alot better than radars
also mwd cloak is vital in 0.0 survival
Is it even worth doing 0.0 exploration if you can do wormhole exploration?
0.0 exploration can yield some goodies if you go packing a ship capable of taking a beating. Loot better than anything you'd salvage in wormholes, most definitely.
Anyone else missing the old jump gate sounds? they were fucking amazing then, now they're so... calm. A couple years ago it sounded like they were going to explode when you jumped. I also miss the old warp sounds.
I miss the old cloak more than anything. I don't know why they replaced it with this shitty cloaking effect.
I love this game so much. It sucks that I can't afford to play it :(
the old sounds when you were cloaked were a bit annoying, but the visuals were much better

Hi guys, so a while back I was being a twit and PLEXed my way to a Drake.
Now, I've skilled my way up and fitted it out properly as a passive tank, but I neglected to grind standings for a corp to run missions for.
Running level 2 missions in a Drake is not very fun at all, not to mention un-profitable.
But the great part about EVE is that the only thing that really matters is money. So how else can I use my shiny new Drake to make good money?
Alternatively, don't train social skills and just join a corp with high faction standings and run L4s with them.
