If you're not in a fleet doing bombing, having a bomb launcher on there is pretty useless tbh. [editline]4th July 2011[/editline]
Aren't bombers supposed to be quick hit and run ships, not staying on the field long enough to need a tank?
They need to be able to survive a glancing blow or two, or taking drones for a few seconds. [Manticore, Bomberman] Micro Auxiliary Power Core I Ballistic Control System II Medium Azeotropic Ward Salubrity I Peripheral Weapon Navigation Diameter Warp Disruptor II Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters 'Malkuth' Siege Missile Launcher I, Mjolnir Torpedo 'Malkuth' Siege Missile Launcher I, Mjolnir Torpedo 'Malkuth' Siege Missile Launcher I, Mjolnir Torpedo Covert Ops Cloaking Device II Bomb Launcher I, Electron Bomb Small Ancillary Current Router I Small Polycarbon Engine Housing I You swap the Warp disruptor for any other type of EWar your group needs. Bombers are best used in small packs of cloakies, as you can stalk larger fleets and pick off their stragglers in bulk. Please note that this is a bomb+torp setup. Some alliances/corps like to use bombers exclusively for bombing runs, and they fit for maximum agility, and often don't worry about torps at all. It's a perfectly valid tactic, but it's more used in 10-20-man bomber wings. This is more for small gang/stalker shit.
Had my first lesson in fleet ops with the Uni. I was the class retard flying the wrong way. It was fun.
Eve University. High sec carebears that will teach you how to play the game in the most boring and pubbie fashion
Its probably the best, most fun and most reliable way to learn the game. So I have no idea why Xictiva appears to dislike the University. All sorts of people, met a 15 year old guy, all the way up to a 57 year old man who's grandchildren are getting into the game.

Could ask I what are the good and bad points to this MMO? Because ever since I've seen Eve Online: The Butterfly Effect trailer. I've been really considering it. I mean the large scale battles, that everything seems to be player controlled and that I've always wanted to play a online space sim. But is there something that could be a real put off? Like odd controls and so on? Thanks.
The pace is slow.

This mostly pertains to 0.0 fleet warfare, but the game can get laggy no matter where you are. If you want to fight in big fleets, prepare yourself for game-breaking, soul crushing lag. EVE is a hard game. It used to be much harder than it is now, but it's still very difficult for new players. If you get into a good situation (ie, you join a good corp or you have friends who know how to play and can teach you), the game gets easier.

On the latest sisi build there's a lot more of the other 3 CQs (back) in, and there's some models and pics and shit for the first gallente online establishment
So has anything new happened with the protests about incursion or has everything pretty much gone back to normal?
..and then PL drops 5+ supers on you. (damn you mr blue)
Mr. Blue is an awesome bro. I've hotdropped with him a bit, and if you hear how dumb some of these carrier pilots are, you'd feel that a good portion of them deserve to get nuked.
