Running fours solo does rake in a lot of isk but i find running solo to be like pulling teeth. Slow, boring, and kinda painful in a low dps ship like my navy scorp.

lul our fleet of 2 BCs and a t1 cruiser just killed 2 commandships, battleship, faction cruiser and an interceptor in a little low-sec roam over an hour.
The slepnir, apoc, drake and interceptor were part of one fleet.

You don't know the definition of days until you try to download EVE on 5 kb/s, until then be happy you have a connection speed I'd kill for.
Seriously though, on a 100 kb/s connection, the EVE download through Steam will only take around eight hours. Consider yourself lucky.
While I was at my friends house, I figured I'd start downloading EVE as it was wiped from my backup drive a few weeks back. I managed to get it to 60% before I left. I then left the download running on my shitty 5 kb/s connection and managed to get it to 75% after three days. And then that fucking Steam patch hit and it caused my download to restart.

Also, just so you guys know, you can move the client out of the /common/ install directory for Steam and place it elsewhere and launch it independently from the eve/exefile executables. That will allow you to bypass any Steam auto-patches which royally fuck up your game.
