You'll get 30 days + however much time you had on your trial.
I wasn't being sarcastic.. I actually really needed the 5mil I got, I couldn't have finished my ship fitting without it. Asshole. Just because 5 million ISK isn't a lot to you doesn't mean it isn't to me.
This is exactly why he's upset. People gave you stuff for free and you sound condescending and annoyed about it. Any normal person would just say "Thanks, every bit helps!" or something to that effect.
What programs do you guys use for trading? I'm using EVE-Central, but the fact that it can be very out of date is worrisome.
Hmm, quite interesting:
During the past two weeks, an Awakened Informorph has been increasingly spotted in systems across New Eden. New and interesting developments have followed in its wake including increased Sleeper aggression, changes in Sansha strategy and the reported construction of new Drone structures in the Genesis region. Last Tuesday the Blazing Angels alliance discovered an "Awakened Infomorph" on their directional scans during standard wormhole mining operations. Shortly after, a wormhole opened up in "the middle of the gravimetric site and sleepers came pouring out." stated Slade Nightstrum. During last week's Sansha blockade of Jita in the New Caldari system, an Awakened Infomorph was spotted observing the battle between capsuleers and Citizen Astur. Finally, reports from The Synenose Accord [SYNE] this past Saturday say they've spotted an Awakened Infomorph in the Promised Land and surrounding region. This region was once dominated by Bloodraider pirates. However their influence is being slowly displaced by an increasing Rogue Drone presence. Local and SYNE pilots have confirmed that "Rogue Drone hives are now appearing in the area. Visual analysis suggests that their sites are generally small-to-medium sized, off-grid, and in the medium-to-late stages of construction." Speaking to SYNE pilot Unit XS365BT, he let slip that there was "another Drone complex within the Dead End system" which his corporation is currently investigating. It is unknown whether it has been the same Awakened Infomorph in all three sightings. However its presence has been linked to unusual events.
Source: http://www.eveonline.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=4681&tid=7
Sleeper incursions? :v:
Sleeper incursions would be pretty cool. I think they are also hinting at the possibility the Sansha is in possession of some powerful piece of sleeper technology. Perhaps he's managed to find a way to reprogram them to some degree? He can almost certainly control wormholes with some precision. Shit, this could get real good.
Horay live events
God damnit I think my fucking escalation is gonna despawn over dt. And what the fuck automerge
yay, finally managed to get my skills up to fly a cruiser and fit it propery, now i just need money to buy one. it seems pretty hard to get ISK, dunno if i'm doing something wrong. i read people recommending doing the Sisters of EVE story arc. how do i get it? i'm in minmatar space currently and haven't found anything related to it. here's my character btw, http://eveboard.com/pilot/Lemk (any donations will be appreciated!) edit: just started training salvaging. hopefully that'll increase my income!
Go to Arnon, dock and talk to the agent starting with "sister" Just a reminder to the new guys - we have an ingame channel called "Facepunch Chat"
Just bought my first month subscription after the trail had finished. So far just doing level 1 missions to get some ISK. Hopefully I can find a newbie friendly Corp soon to do something more teamwork based.
ah flippin egg. I hate when it automatically updates your subscription and not even asks for my permission >:(
You need to cancel your subscription after paying by CC
You need to cancel your subscription after paying by CC
Yeah, I normally do that but it changes back everytime you renew the subscription. I easily forget it or I'm just to lazy to cancel it again...
finally got my salvaging working. decided to make myself a dedicated salvager, so i bought a destroyer and fitted it with 4 salvagers+tractor beam (so useful!), which was a huge investment for me (1.7ish mil isk!). i named it Sally. in the beginning it felt like a waste since the first few wrecks i salvaged barely netted me 5k isk. but i continued and eventually i started salvaging worthy scarps and i made over 2 mill so far from it. feels good. getting closer to getting my first cruiser, yay.
I bought a set of +5 implants and then I remembered I have to train Cybernetics V first.. doh!
Don't use anything considered a glitch, that includes loan contracts. Other than that, do whatever the fuck you want.
Don't use anything considered a glitch, that includes loan contracts. Other than that, do whatever the fuck you want.
Nothing to do with GTCs or character trading either
How can I run a successful scam? I've been fucked over in so many other MMO's so many times I just don't give a shit anymore. :v:
That's up to you to figure out and devise friend, you just have to use your common sense
Don't use anything considered a glitch, that includes loan contracts. Other than that, do whatever the fuck you want.
Loan contracts were a perfectly valid way to scam They are no longer in game, however
thanks to whoever donated me! you helped me buy and fit my first cruiser ((: decided to buy a Stabber. i feel rather badass flying this massive.. stick? i love it.
Maybe I was just shocked a community like Facepunch would be so charitable? I just heard of a guy scamming someone out of 300 mil in Jita, are scams allowed in EVE? If so, what are the limitations?
You are to me what Max is to the rest of this thread.
No idea what to do. Haven't really played for the past few days. Just training skills. I don't want to quit the game though, I want to progress since the stuff that you can do later on is fucking badass. Still, kind of boring right now.

You have to search for fun things, nobody's gonna hand you over some. Try out WH if you haven't already.
Wormholes? Isn't that immensely dangerous? I will most likely be teleported into Goon Space.
A large number of players are now in WH space. It might be dangerous to go alone, however I've been in a WH for quite some time now with my corp mates and I have a lot of fun there. There's always somebody to shoot and you can go kill sleepers and make a quite presentable amount of money. Find a WH corp and try it out yourself.
Wormholes? Isn't that immensely dangerous? I will most likely be teleported into Goon Space.
Wormholes tell you if it leads into Unknown space or High/low/null sec. If the Wormhole name is K162 then it was scanned from the other side first and may have people in it. [editline]29th July 2011[/editline]
Never exactly understood what Wormhole space is. Once you get "in" how do you get out?
A wormhole is like a gate that comes and goes on both sides. If too much mass passes through it, it collapses, it also dies after some time and a new one into the system is spawned. Wormhole systems also have "depth". Like I once lived in one with a depth of two. So its wormholes lead to depth 1 systems and then you can scan an exit from there. They can be a class of 1-6. 1 and 2 always connect to high sec. The higher, the harder and more rewarding.
