The base of all investment scams in eve: Take money and don't give it back.
It works in EVE because the people taking your money aren't legally obliged to provide the services they advertise. You'd think people would learn.

Training for an incursion ready hurricane. According to my skillplan it will take 54 days. :suicide:
> Get Drake instead > Profit
Training a specific build for a corp that I might join in the future. Also, I will never fly a ship designed by Caldari scum. :v:
It amazes me that Minmatar ships are capable of warp travel. How can all of that duct tape and rusting metal withstand warp conditions?
Funny you should say that, actually. The minmatar never achieved warp drive tech by themselves, they had to bootleg it from the other races after they got freed. Hence, acceleration gates.
While entirely believable I'd like to see the evidence.

I'm using the 14 day free trial, anything I should know about this?
While entirely believable I'd like to see the evidence.
My bad, I was thinking of jump gates. Here's the quote anyway:
Various efforts were made to increase the speed of ships, but most of them failed either because of too high fuel volume and cost, or because they were too limited in scope. The most successful attempt was that of the old Minmatar Empire, which built acceleration gates that employed gravity in an unique way to slingshot ships between planets. This gave the ships enough momentum to fly between planets in a much shorter time than before. But the Minmatars never discovered how to build inter-stellar jump gates, so their acceleration gates were limited to their home system (where they still exist today). They had begun experimenting with much larger acceleration gates capable of sending ships between solar systems, but they never got a chance to build them before the Amarrians invaded and enslaved the Minmatars.

I'm using the 14 day free trial, anything I should know about this?
The number one rule of EVE Online: Do not trust anyone.
The number one rule of EVE Online: Do not trust anyone.
If there's something to gain, there's someone who would like to gain it.
I'm using the 14 day free trial, anything I should know about this?
You should know one of us can send you a 21 day trial that gives us 30 free days if you subscribe. PM someone (preferably me) your email to get the invite. You'll need to start a new account, but if you just started that won't be a problem.
The number one rule of EVE Online: Do not trust anyone.
Not really. Nullsec corps are pretty much based on trust along with lowsec ones. If you can't trust someone not to shoot you they would fall apart pretty quickly.
That's not exactly what that rule is in reference to, but okay.

I'm tight on cash and working on building a rocket, which is relatively cheap but manufacturing your own fuel is really expensive. I think I'm paying something like $225 for 3 gallons of the stuff.
For a second I thought you meant you were actually building a rocket. But then I realized you were talking about rocket ammunition in EVE, and did your math wrong because it would not cost 5.4bil ISK to manufacture one.

By the way, I am actually building a rocket. Nothing on the scale NASA or SpaceX would make though.

You get an extra week free and one of us might get 30 free days if you like the game. There's really no downside.
Some kind of an EVE inside joke? By the way, I am actually building a rocket. Nothing on the scale NASA or SpaceX would make though.
No, not an inside joke. I actually thought you were manufacturing rocket ammunition for use in rocket launchers. Seeing as how one PLEX is 360,000,000 ISK and one month of game time is $14.95, I divided $225 by $14.95 and then multiplied by 360,000,000 and then divided by 1,000,000 to get the figure of 5.4bil ISK, which I knew was an impossible cost for manufacturing rocket ammunition as they are the smallest form of missile ammunition in the game. But now that I know you are actually building a rocket, I am no longer confused.

Sorry, it comes with having industry as your humble origins in EVE Online. When somebody refers to a module such as a rocket which somebody can buy in EVE as a form of ammunition and then they put manufacturing in the same sentence, I assume they are trying to produce an item for use in the game. Seeing as how "Rocket Fuel" can be bought and/or produced in the game also reinforces this in my mind even further.

wormhole tengu ganked
Well, I really don't know what the point of that was, nor do I know how it connects to my previous confusion with this fellows mention of rocket and his manufacturing of fuel. Please, do enlighten me.

Oh I thought me saying those words would make his brain explode or something.
