Anybody else think that the skills/perks menu looks really annoying to navigate and could be vastly improved by having a second skill list on the side of it? I don't really like being forced to look at one thing at a time. Kind of like an iPod. Oh wait, that's literally where they got their inspiration.
Skyrim should tottaly include a Hardcore Mode like in Fallout: NV. It would tottaly make me feel like more of a badass having to fight off the cold and hunt saber tooth tigers and shit for food.

I honestly would be happen to have Oblivion recreated on this new engine. Of course, I'd rather the actual Skyrim game, but I'd be happy with a recreation of...wait...no, recreate Morrowind on the new engine! Oh god it would be glorious
The guy with the bow is a Skyrim Nord, the one underneath is an Oblivion Imperial. The first guy (far left) is a Breton, although I believe the Skyrim one is a Nord as well.
Just talking Oblivion guys:

The first guy is Imperial. There are no Bretons, what so ever, on that comparison image.

Oh god it would be glorious
I think Morrowind could have potencial as an expansion, I imagine Bethesda hasn't done other countries as expansions because they want to keep some opportunities open for future games, but with Morrowind we've already seen Vvardenfel so they've left out the mainland. Bethesda wouldn't have to worry about recreating a complete copy of Vvardenfel from TES3 either because it was destroyed in the time between Oblivion and Skyrim. As for the main plot we could help the dark elves drive out the argonian invaders and help them reclaim their lands. Plus basing an expansion on Morrowind would really appeal to the Morrowind fans and newcomers who've heard of all the praise TES3 gets.
Shame about Vvardenfel... So soon after that priest drove the cliff racers from the island, it gets destroyed by Daedra. That's just not fair.
I just realised what my first playthrough is going to be. I am going to be an Orc, and I am going to spend at least 2 hours in the character creation making him this badass motherfucker. FUCK YEAH
AimlessGiant, I salute you and I wish you luck on your project once the game is released.

Going to need to max out marksman to be the complete package.
Thank you, manliest of men.

You could make red orcs in Oblivion and they looked totally badass. hopefully you can do that for skyrim.
I might actually make a Orc in Skyrim. I've never made one before because I thought they were fucking ugly as shit in Oblivion and Morrowind.
Going to need to max out marksman to be the complete package.
Marksman and one handed. Need to find a war cleaver, boyo!
There is a part of me that is glad we aren't getting too much information. 3 months until launch, and we know very little about the game. Think about how many hours we'll spend on exploring alone. Finding out things we didn't even think of. 3 Months gents, and we can step out of that cell and into the cold winter.
3 months... please stop rubbing it in. Maybe we will get lucky and discover time travel in 1!

Still have yet to see a male breton.
Well, I've decided. Provided Skyrim has the same skin tone slider set (Or a similar one) as Oblivion, I'm going to play as a Nord-coloured Redguard. They'll never see it coming.
Oh shit, we got a redgaurd coming nah, its just a nord, nevermind who the fuck cares "ARDENALINE RUUUUUSSSSHHH"
i hope you can have black colors of the other races besides redguard color me closet racist but i find a need to make my character resemble me in some way also red skinned Orc warrior and Dark Elf Gandalf or Wizardsassin simultaneous first playthroughs

"Well you guys got here last so you need to be the races nobody likes"
Good God... the graphics. I can't wait to not work and play this and dick around all day. It's gonna be fantastic.
I saw some people earlier in the thread saying the graphics were sub-par, I find them to be really fucking awesome and they will only improve on the PC version (aren't the screenshots Xbox?)

The textures are pretty bad. Hopefully PC will have much higher res texture options... but who knows.
I'm sure I'm late, but apparently there's to be children in Skyrim. They will be impervious to damage.
Only on consoles.
