Screenshots are xbox. The textures are pretty bad.
Screenshots are xbox. The textures are pretty bad. Hopefully PC will have much higher res texture options... but who knows.
I don't think the textures are bad, they're just not great. PC will look much better, which is saying something because to be honest, the close-up textures are just about the only thing in these screenshots that really give them away as being from a console.
I'd rather no children at all if you can't kill them, I mean, I'm not going to go around killing children but not being able to kill them or alternatively like in Fallout 3, where they had weapons but were invincible, it just really takes away from the immersion plus the whole argument is bad, "we don't want it to be a kid killing simulator but a grown man/woman killing simulator is fine hurr"

morals sucks balls
Well since you don't know, why dont you default to the people who made the Creation Engine; people who obviously know more than you about the given subject. Every time some guy feels he needs to refer to Creation as Gamebryo, it does nothing more than spread more rumors among people who are more casual observers of the series. Now you've got troves of people going around "hurr durr creation is gamebryo" even though they have no fucking conception of what they are talking about. So do everybody a massive favor and stop referring to it incorrectly, and save everybody the time and confusion.
Because the only thing they're doing is flinging around the word "derived" like it means anything substantial. (Went to bed - sorry to disappoint.) I'm sorry if some critical (how many ways can you interpret "critical"? answers on postcard) take from some predetermined "safe" line is something you don't tolerate, though. One can't paper up the fact that the reality is pretty murky, and saying it's a new engine doesn't help the "casual observers" get closer to what we actually need in regard to this issue if we want to stop wheel-warring over something pretty trivial: something substantial. It has absolutely no bearing on the game, of course, other than whether I can claim I'll be comfortable leaving my 460 up to it. [editline]13th August 2011[/editline]
Somewhere, somebody is modelling dragon penises on 3dsMax for skyrim.
http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?tag=rrerr No results! I am disappoint! [editline]Another edit[/editline] I think I've just overlooked something big - I'm happy calling it the Creation Engine, but whether or not it's Gamebryo - all I claimed - is clear as shit.
UGh, I downloaded a good vampire mod, but when I get the disease I can't turn and whenever I use that tombstone in the test cell and then feed, I don't get a message nor do I go back to 25 vampirism wat do
UGh, I downloaded a good vampire mod, but when I get the disease I can't turn and whenever I use that tombstone in the test cell and then feed, I don't get a message nor do I go back to 25 vampirism wat do
There's a test cell for that? Why not just use the hideout south of Leyawiin?
wat do
Download some wife simulators, should fix it.
There's a test cell for that? Why not just use the hideout south of Leyawiin?
Because it doesn't turn you into a vampire?
Because it doesn't turn you into a vampire?
Now I just fucked up.
Is costumable items and magicks confirmed? In my opinion this was an awesome feature that wasnt fully explored and I do hope they did buffed it up on Skyrim.
Is costumable items and magicks confirmed? In my opinion this was an awesome feature that wasnt fully explored and I do hope they did buffed it up on Skyrim.
If it isn't I'll be greatly disappointed. It's always fun taking spells you learned and combining them.
They're not allowed to sell games where the player is capably of killing children. Hell kids were removed (read: made invisible) in Fallout 2 in Europe because you could kill them. Also mods. Slaughtering Little Lamplight was one of the funniest things I did in the otherwise depressing Fallout 3.
If it isn't I'll be greatly disappointed. It's always fun taking spells you learned and combining them.
Would be interesting if they had an unknown-effect feature that actually carried over to the combination as well, though.
Would be interesting if they had an unknown-effect feature that actually carried over to the combination as well, though.
A master of spell craft should be able to choose that unknown effect or see what it is before they make the spell though. I really wish they showed off more about the combat and spell casting. All I know is they have a One Spell Two Spell combo where its one hand or the other or both. But I want to know MORE about this. Instead they keep taunting us with the same video over and over again.
I want another Argonian shot :buddy:
I think that spellcrafting was already confirmed to be out, unfortunately.
I think that spellcrafting was already confirmed to be out, unfortunately.
Just wait until the Arch-Mage hears about this
i'm assuming i can ask oblivion questions here. sometimes i can't press confirm when i get a popup window. anyone had this problem before? how do i fix it?
I want another Argonian shot :buddy:
With a shotgun that is.
I think that spellcrafting was already confirmed to be out, unfortunately.
I think bethesda just lost a prepurchase
I think bethesda just lost a prepurchase
There will most likely be a mod for it.
I hate it when they decide to take something out and not give a good reason for it. Like in Oblivion. "Yeah we took spears out because, eh they are so speary and we have axes and they are blunt weapons and shit"
I think that spellcrafting was already confirmed to be out, unfortunately.
Has it been? I know in a G4TV article they wrote: "We pick up a soul gem here, which can be used to power up spells or create new ones." source: http://www.g4tv.com/games/xbox-360/64714/the-elder-scrolls-5-skyrim/articles/74303/the-elder-scrolls-5-skyrim-first-look-preview-part-3-dungeon-crawling-puzzle-solving-and-dragon-slaying/ But maybe the author of the article had no idea what he was talking about... There have been statements that may hint at it being taken out, but as far as I can tell, I may be wrong here, they have not directly confirmed it.
I hate it when they decide to take something out and not give a good reason for it. Like in Oblivion. "Yeah we took spears out because, eh they are so speary and we have axes and they are blunt weapons and shit"
maybe a bit of a provocative question but why do you people want spears so badly?
maybe a bit of a provocative question but why do you people want spears so badly?
spears were in morrowind and suddenly disappeared from the series after that (and that is kind of confusing, plus they were cool.) wasn't there a halberd in one of the screenshots?
How do we go 200 years with no technological advancements? You'd think with the combined efforts of magic and science, they'd create something decent.
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/podcasts/archive/2011/02/03/toddhowardse.aspx He talks about spell-crafting at around 14:00. It's an interesting talk in general though.
maybe a bit of a provocative question but why do you people want spears so badly?
Because they are the Argonian culture's weapon. [editline]13th August 2011[/editline] And they are awesome. [editline]13th August 2011[/editline]
How do we go 200 years with no technological advancements?
