I've tried all of the overhaul mods (MMM, FCOM, OOO, all that jazz) but quickly found myself totally overwhelmed by the Daedric lynch mobs and dread zombies at level 2, so I permanently changed my difficulty to 1/4th up the line.

where is he looking at?
"make zhe bulge bigger, ja?"
I decided to get the UOP types since the bugs in game were really working my nerves to the point where I needed console commands to fix them. Argh.
I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised.
I've come to a crossroads, and I need to know which way I should go. OOO or MMMforFrans? FCOM is out of the question.
why not MMM for OOO? that exists too.

jesus fucking christ, fcom isn't that hard to install and it's the most up to date of all these overhaul compatibility patchrs

1/4 difficulty is where it's at, I like not feeling incredibly impotent whenever I hit something.

Oh boy, a skeleton.
Proceed to fire 200 arrows and watch them deflect off of him, making me have to scramble and grab them before they disappear because fuck I'm not using Steel arrows this far in the game
Not sure whether in my personal TES story to make my characters mages, stealth-users or some mix of both..
FCOM makes Oblivion run like shit for me. Always has.
Besides, I prefer the smaller overhaul mods anyways.
So why do people complain about Oblivion's UI?

Yeah, it's just a really lazy way of increasing the difficulty.
So why do people complain about Oblivion's UI?
Because its Big, Consolish and ugly.
Is there a mod that makes it so that when you press a hotkey it casts the spell bound to it?
So why do people complain about Oblivion's UI?
because it's fucking huge and ugly as fuck, it would be a more efficient use of the screen to just cover half of it in shit
So is the release date for Skyrim in the European date order or the US date order?
Tcom is the best mod pack. It has FCOM, OOO, MMM, Deadly Reflex 5, and various other mods. Oblivion feels like a totally different game.

Head on into Vitharn at level one, burn through the bandits, picking up loot on the way.
Swarmed by ten Skeleton Guardians while being flanked by a fucking headless zombie.

Just install them yourself you lazy bastard, that way you get only mods you actually want.

The 11th of November is a Friday, so European, but it's released that day everywhere.
I guess he meant tht by date order:

FCOM includes OOO and MMM (That's what the O and M stand for) and deadly reflex 5 is shit compared to 6.
dragon porn eh
I'm hoping the unicorn returns in all its guard massacring glory once again.
Seriously, that thing is some kind of blood fuelled kill-beast.

I walked over saw a rainbow and a Unicorn. I laughed, "lol the fuck is this gay shit brah?"
That Unicorn wrecked my shit.

My Assassin has a simple process: Know major factions, get to a point where I'm top dog or buddies with said top dog, get to know everyone, then slowly and surely, murder them in the name of Sithis. Watching their bodies slam onto the floor from a distant arrow is always a funny sight. :v:
So why do people complain about Oblivion's UI?
Iunno, I've no problem with it.
Yeah, it's just a really lazy way of increasing the difficulty.
It was after I burned through two different stacks of 200 arrows in just 4 caves, most being spent beating the undead with a stick after I ran out, I decided 'maybe I should make this less punishing'. Stuck it on 1/4th, fels good.

Oh man time to go inside this cave for dungeon diving.
A million Gloom Wraiths and Netherworld Lich's in one spot and they manage to see me after one arrow
I shit on that unicorn and its 5 Minotaur buddies. Stupid horse thinks its all that. Lotta good you are when you've got 20 arrows filled with poison in your head.

The joke
All the planes of Oblivion
Your head.
I got bored after playing through the game a few times and easy so I kicked it up to the hardest. First fucking rat one hit kills me. Oh darn, restart. Block this time. Still. fucking.died.
