So, a new lore-friendly Oblivion mod came out (yes, they exist), might be worth checking out: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39923
The fuck is up with the missing eyes? It's the third screenshot I see with a person having a white one.
probably showing off the increased customization options

Wait, Vaermina's Quagmire? Oh shit. Insta-dl.
I just use the basic fireball spell to knock them down.
Telekenisis was entirely worthless, it literally has no application. I am really, really, really hoping you can pick people and objects up and hurl them at other enemies with telekinesis this time that is assuming that you've got a powerful variant.
Yeah, I hope it's done akin to how it was in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Telekinesis in that was SO fun.
Why people like Argonians so much?
During the demo, when Todd is going through the menus he highlights "Apprentice Robes of Conjuration." I don't have a screenshot on me but if you pause and read it the enchantment is "Reduce cost of Conjuration spells by 5"
Finally more varied enchantments than just "Fortify/Drain X" or "X damage".
Why people like Argonians so much?
because they have big, scaly cocks
Why people like Argonians so much?
closet scalies
Why people like Argonians so much?
opinions.

Theres a lever on the platform behind her.
I'm assuming they have no sleeves in a lot of the pictures because they're marching around in the plains area. That or like someone suggested before, it's assumed that most people living in the region are Nordic, especially when you get to Grey-beard territory/the really cold places.
Why people like Argonians so much?
Because lizardmen are badass. Argonians also make amazing assassins.
Bro, I think that's a tranny.
Really hot.
Why people like Argonians so much?
Because lizard-lady.
Disregard large scaley phallic appendages, acquire breasts.
I was actually worried for a moment that Redguard females will be as dark as males.
I am now relieved.
Also n the Quakecon demonstarion, when he entered the village, didn't he talk to a redguard? I think he looked brown-red, right?
So I just thought about the Quakecon video again. and at the end of the video there's the dramatic shout of "DOVAHKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN" and then I thought how awesome it would be for that to be one of the shouts. It has no purpose. No damage caused. Nothing at all. The only thing it does is draw attention to you. So as you're walking about town you just randomly yell your name/title as loud as possible. "Halt! You have violated the la-" only to be interrupted by you screaming "DOVAHKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN" and then running away.
Now I want to walk into a camp or Bandits, pull out a waraxe and just yell "DOVAHKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!". When they turn around I'll just yell "FUCK YOU!" and blow them all back.
Nirn (the planet this all takes place on) is retardedly small.

This is the entire world - with Tamriel being the big landmass on the right. The island in the middle is the island Imperial City sits on. This entire planet is a fraction of the size of Texas. It'd have zero gravity unless it was somehow super dense.
I realize it's fantasy but that just occurred to me and it sort of surprised me. :v:
I just noticed in the Quakecon video around 22:35 when Todd uses the Fus-Doh-Rah Dragon Shout, it pushes a Draugr all the way into a trap which springs him right back into the fight :v:

It doesn't show any of Akavair.

I'm pretty sure that's actually just the known world. I might be wrong, but still. It's like how it is in Dragon Age. Ferelden, Orlais, etc. etc. are only the known parts of the world. It seems small, but there's more to it than that which hasn't been discovered yet.
Why people like Argonians so much?
I'm not sure about anyone else, but for me personally they remind me of:

Don't forget (it's even pointing to them on the map) that Atmora is north of Tamriel and Akavir (which is suppose to be some big shit) is to the East. A bunch of islands and other continents are suppose to litter the areas between Tamriel and Akavir as well.
Oh yeah don't forget Thras, which is Southwest of Tamriel, the land of the Sload.
EDIT:
I seem to have forgotten Aldmeris to the deep south(If it's really suppose to be there) So as you can see, Nirn is actually quite huge if you think about the sizes those other continents probably are (even has two moons).
Everything is looking good, but needs more [del]cowbe[/del] bretons, imperials and altmers
*new screenshot loading*
"ohboyohboyohboyohboyohboy"
"oh, its another khajiit" :pwn:

Uh, missing atmora and akavir.
Not to mention the world was way bigger in daggerfall, they just downsized things so the game was more concentrated.
The continent* of tamriel would be quite small, but its not the only continent.
I like how in the game with magical dimensions with gods and daedra and dragons in them we're discussing how the planet doesn't work.
I'm sure there's an ancient daedric spell keeping the core from imploding or something.
Not really just showing how there is a lot more to the world of Nirn than just Tamriel. The second most famous continent is Akaviir. Then you have all the other continents I mentioned in every other direction. This also helps explain how Dragons even reached Tamriel. The first ones came from Akaviir, I don't know about this new generation of Dragons though.
Besides they are all dead (Except for one, Yagrum Bagarn)
Unless of course, a new elder scrolls game will take place prior to the former ones.
Actually, the Dwemer aren't dead. They're 'missing' it's speculated that they were swept into an alternate plane of existence.
(Sorry it took so long to reply, I was afk)
Why people like Argonians so much?
I always liked Lizardmen personally.
In my local D&D group I play a custom race Lizardman theif/smuggler. He has a very Han Solo like attitude.
I mainly keep the Lizard/Reptilian guys dressed in golden armor, akin to the Aztec inspired lizards from Warhammer.
My TES characters are always made to be a relative of his. It helps me flesh out my own story and have a bit of fun with my imagination.
As to why other people play Argonians...
Lizard porn?
Why isn't it Sun's Dawn now?
Theres a lever on the platform behind her.
Yeah, the devs said that there will be more puzzles in the dungeons this time.
I think I'm going to play as an imperial, I almost always play as a smooth-talking swordsman, and I feel the Imperials fit that archetype well.
Think a "Scumbag Todd" or "Scumbag Bethesda" meme has any potential?
