God dammit, now I've got that song stuck in my head. "Let's get down to business! To defeat... THE HUNS!"
Or was that song at a different part in the movie? I haven't seen that movie in a while...
Aaaugh, now I've got the song stuck in my head. And yes, the lyrics you posted is part of the training song.
On topic, I cannot wait for this game since I saw the Quakecon video and the recent character screenshots.
I am actually hoping the retail versions are activated on Steam. I want my games on Steam yet only buy retail because of my internet cap.
Hey, let's pretend that it's Daggerfall that's coming out next!
Hey, let's pretend that it's Daggerfall that's coming out next!
I got it 3 months early!

Ahahahah no fuck you.
Altho, Daggerfall was the best game I've ever played.
And you guys think that Oblivion's guard have a Criminal Scum sense?
Daggerfall's are even worse. If you steal something UNSEEN, guard enters building.
You can plead not guilty and be cleared of the charges but still.

Aww, so lucky! How does Black Marsh look with the new graphics?

I remember that, being completely alone at night in town. There's a NPC. I attack him.
The next half minute was like a movies scene of a invasion with FUCKING THOUSANDS OF GUARDS suddenly jumping out of the fog.
i wanted to play oblivion till the skyrims release, but thats like 5hrs fixing problems for 10minutes playtime.
i wanted to play oblivion till the skyrims release, but thats like 5hrs fixing problems for 10minutes playtime.
Not to mention the engine constantly crashing. As well as Imperial Guards boots and blades being stuck halfway up your ass anytime you even thought of stealing something.

I've not once had a problem with Oblivion. Odd... What problems have you been having?

They all look like robocop.
I've not once had a problem with Oblivion. Odd... What problems have you been having?
crashing after the sewers, after fast traveling and some random ones
That dungeon looks amazing!
Reminds of the initial Nehrim dungeon.

That looping music *is* interesting. I swear it's got a little swing to it. (It's hilarious how no one's freaked out.)
This game keeps getting better and better.
I made myself a more serious wallpaper than the one posted a few pages back

Goddamn, I forgot how hilarious the AI and sounds were in Daggerfall. I need to play it again, I never did get very far. I just wish that a lot of the town music was less annoying, especially considering that there was actually a lot of good music in other parts of the game.
Why people like Argonians so much?
Lizards are cool, dinosaurs are cool, dragons are cool, and Argonians are basically a mix of the three, at least in Skyrim. Although their heads looked more like inflated beans with spikes in Oblivion, hence why I was never really motivated to play as one.
Also, their voices sound really slick, so that's always a plus.
I also like how I'm obsessive enough to notice how Yotrig is giving rainbows to everyone who says they'll play a beast race on their first time through :v:

Yotrig backwards is GIR TOY.
That's short for GIRTH TOY.
(sorry.)
Haven't been in this thread for a week, I see they've revealed what the races will look like. Elves look elvier.
I want to play as a Breton for this game, as I never did in Oblivion. Are they good?
I think Bretons make the best mages? I'm not sure though.
bretons are resistant to magic and are good with restoration spells iirc
so go in with a short sword and keep a healing spell handy

Fuck dat shit, go into battle as a High Elf under the Apprentice. HARD MODE, YO
no heals no weapons no armor final destination
Fuck dat shit, go into battle as a High Elf under the Apprentice. HARD MODE, YO
That's EXACTLY what I just did. High Elf, Apprentice birth sign, Nightblade. 300+ magic though.
-snip nothing I just said made sense-
Now that I think about it, I'm curious as to how we will get out of prison this time in Skyrim. It was said we were on our way to our execution so I wonder if someone saves us or we manage to escape ourselves?

Dragon shout your way out.

Yeah, if you know you are Dragonborn at that time. I have a feeling Esbern will bust in and save you, however, I would wonder how he knows you are Dovahkiin.

I like Bretons. Played one in Oblivion.

Maybe a dragon interrupts the execution and everyone panics because it's their first time seeing a dragon and you escape/are saved.
