Play a vampire High Elf born with The Lord birthsign and try to walk into Mordor.
Welp, just reinstalled Oblivion GOTY. Any good Graphics enhancers out there for me?

Its somewhat less dramatic.
Its somewhat less dramatic.
What are you talking about I am now even more hyped about Oblivion. The animations were great and skinny red dragons are awesome. I like the part where he shoved the dragon off a cliff using a sword with the power of a train. That was badass. /sarcasm
Perfect way to show how inferior Oblivion is to Skyrim.
Perfect way to show how inferior Oblivion is to Skyrim.
Graphically, yes, although I don't think many play with vanilla graphics anyway. At least they've all got Unique Landscapes and Qarl's installed... right? Right?
Jesus H Derail! Back to my question, what are some really good Graphics Enhancers. I mean stuff that'll push the limits here.
Jesus H Derail! Back to my question, what are some really good Graphics Enhancers. You can find some yourself if you go to TESNexus and search in the Models and Textures category. Order the mods by Most Downloads and you'll probably find the really good enhancer mods.
Is there a main quest remover for Oblivion? I really dont wanna do it all again for the nth time.
So how long does Skyrim happen after Oblivion? I need to take a good lore update on the Elder Scrolls Wiki.
I am actually hoping the retail versions are activated on Steam. I want my games on Steam yet only buy retail because of my internet cap.
Could just add a non-steam shortcut, works pretty much the same way sans achievments.
I think this time for my new install I will avoid FCOM Convergence and only try to use mods that enhance audio and visuals. I don't know about mechanics yet.

Other things I use are Natural Environments and Qarl's Texture Pack (have a gander on my youtube channel to see some before & after shots)
i've always played vanilla
i've always played vanilla
Me too.
Cant get through my steam guard anymore oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck
Someone mashed all of the known faces together. Shows how diverse the characters will be:
dear god, everyone looks so damn badass.
I just walked into Myvrina Arano's house with Hieronymous Lex, he busted her for "stealing" the bust of the Count of Cheydinhal, then he came out of dialogue and shouted that at me. wat
I have to admit - Better Cities Chorrol beats vanilla Skingrad - it spills outside of the city, and that's how towns in Oblivion should've worked. SG does that to a certain extent, but BCC adds an entire pastoral outer city, walls, and paths leading to places I haven't been down yet. Anyway, two reasons why you'll want a DoF mod to hide the "aggressive" LoD: [editline]15th August 2011[/editline]
I made this a while ago, teaches you how to setup OBGEv3 along with my settings for it. Decided to get Sounds of Cyrodiil and a bunch of other sounds mods a long with All Natural and Immersive Indoors. Combining that with Qarls and OBGE and I should be good.

I think that's where my bushes come from.
My current game runs like shit, I might as well reinstall then not install FCOM, which should free up my load order for some awesome mods I haven't used. Maybe it'll allow me to actually run the game properly without it becoming clogged the fuck up with scripts so it chugs more than fucking crysis. Anyone have experience with Open Better Cities? Never used an open cities mod before and if I reinstall I kinda want to try it out.

I know they've tried to make compatibility patches, but until I know what house or other mods I might get, I'll need to hold off on UL.

I've always found Open Cities already pretty laggy in places, though.
Open Cities Reborn is the newest version that someone else picked up and improved upon.
