Is there any place where I can get the older Elder Scrolls games?
I thought that hadn't been updated in ages?
Well I've got no idea since I never tried any of them before.
Compatible with UL! Hooray!

The Bethesda site has Arena and Daggerfall for free and Morrowind can be acquired at any reputable games retailer.
Oh cool. Thanks.
Since Skyrim was announced I played through Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion and still 3 months left...
Well, time for Fallout3 and New Vegas :v:
I wonder what setting elder scrolls VI will have, yes it's too early to talk about it but still. Am I the only on hoping for High Rock, having tall as hell mountains everywhere = win

i hope they wont do black marsh though.
They would always take the series to one of the other continents
I can kind of guess whats unique about most of the provinces.
Except Hammerfell. Whats special about Hammerfell?

redguards, mostly deserts.

Well High Rock have already been done in Daggefall, personally I would love to see Summerset Isle.

daggerfall is 15 years old. Id like to see high rock in modern graphics.

Well that's true, but Summerset has barely got any attention at all. Same with Elseweyr and Valenwood. I would like to see High Rock too though, I want to see all the countries in full 3D.
Rather than just one area, why not hope that by then we can recreate the whole map in amazing graphics.

the whole tamriel would be a huge pain in the ass, fast travel would be your best friend, but you would still have to discover locations.
And there are no planes or cars, you have to travel by a god damn horse.
Id rather have one large detailed area than one very very large area what barely has anything.
I'd rather see VI not be limited to just one providence.
I hope there's a game that takes place in morrowind's mainland. They combine it with black marsh, that would give it two distinct provinces in a reasonable map area.
I'd rather see VI be on an expidition to Akavir.
Or to Yokuda

High Rock wouldnt make good for it's own game. It's shape is linear, and it doesn't have a lot of land area if displayed to the same scale as Oblivion, Morrowind or Skyrim.
Im really hoping they do high rock for a skyrim expansion. Like, a Shivering Isles grade expansion, but with a new province that you can seamlessly walk into from skyrim.
Because lizardmen are badass. Argonians also make amazing assassins.
And so did my heavy armor redguard/nord...
and that ork from the Dark Brotherhood. No argonian can beat that shit.
I always liked Lizardmen personally.
In my local D&D group I play a custom race Lizardman theif/smuggler. He has a very Han Solo like attitude.
Why custom race when you can use them gogdamned dragonborns, also there are others
pfffffft kobolds

I have already foreseen it to be Summerset isle, its what makes the most sense.
Valenwood and Elsweyr will most likely be the same game, and I doubt they will ever do Black Marsch.
I just trully hope they kept the paralyse spell. Making your enemies freeze and watch them fall like jello sculptures and then shoot a fireball just to watch they get blown off and hit the ceiling
Btw, even thou I dislike argonians. I have to say gogdamn they look awesome.
The khajiit look boring as always tho.
I hope they keep the bound item spells, but I'd then at least like the items to be of different quality so it makes as much sense with the leveling system as the other spells do.

Where did you find this map? Are there other maps like it that shows what lies beyond the continent?

Technology is improving fast enough that I imagine within 5 to 10 years you could create the entire continent and summerset isles all in one game, and have everything look even better than skyrim is shaping up to look.

Did you seriously just take a screenshot of an image posted and made for this thread, and posted it here?

Unless everything was randomly generated that's still 7 games worth of towns, cities, villages, guilds, quests, NPCs, creatures, dungeons, stuff unique to each province and to create genuine uniqueness to each culture it's 7 games worth of weapons, armour, spells, and books to do.
I wish they would do an expansion for skyrim that has all the planes for the daedra gods
I seriously hope they have a Elder Scrolls game with one massive world, I always used to reach the border in Oblivion and wish to be able to go to other places and stuff.

It'd be cool to walk to the Black Marshes and die
(But really, that'd be great if there were more things to do in between.
