I'm hopefully going to be getting a decent computer soon so I can experience Deus Ex HR, Skyrim and Serious Sam 3 in all their glory.

Woah, 3 great games at practically the same time. That's new.
I never really RP in RPGs. I never get into a specific mindset for a character. I'm trying to fix that with my current playthrough, where instead of just picking topics during conversations I actually try to think of what my character would say using the topics as guides to formulating actual sentences.
I do it in games like mass effect where your character actually speaks, can't really get in the feeling with it in TES though.
So, fat chance I know but would anyone be willing to trade a Skyrim prepurchase for some tf2 items and hats?

you can have the skyrim hat I would get too

You're joking right? Visual mods that can be obtained for free or from further trading, for a paid for game? Yea no.

You should go to the TF2 section. People pay big money for pixels.

Oh you'll be surprised. Got Fallout 3: GOTY from them Earbuds.
Some peoplle would buy items for shit loads of money.
Try the TF2 forum.

Yes I realize that. It's something I don't understand nor support. Paying for a game is one thing, but paying for a visual mod on your character is like throwing your money away.

Ok well fantastic for you. I came here to ask if anyone would be willing. You could have just said "no"

Really?
Going to make a bunch of Steam accounts and play TF2 from a VMWare station with Mac OSX installed.
Gonna be RICH. :v:

Yeah, I cant really do that ultra rp stuff either.
Still, I do like to get into mindsets and the like, such as being honorable, or doing the exact opposite of that.. stealing from everybody and being overall hostile to everybody in dialouge. Playing a psychopath is always fun too (go Javier Bardem on everybody's asses) guess that's what the DB is for.
I would play without V-Sync, but my monitor has a 60Hz refresh rate, so I get terrible screen tearing. However, with V-sync, I get a terrible framerate...
Help?

f2p cant trade. you have to pay $5 to steam to get the ability to buy ingame items to boost you to paid which would make it redundant because you could have taken that $5 and bought games.

If people in the TF2 section pay for this kinda stuff, wouldn't it be smarter to ask in the TF2 section?
I don't think anyone in this thread would be willing.

Actually I could have rated disagree and left it at that. But I felt that voicing my opinion on the subject would explain why I disagreed. By all means buy your fancy pixels and trade your games with them. Who am I to judge? I just personally don't understand it.

Shit...
Well Fallout 3: GOTY is $30, so even paying $5 for premium I would be saving $15 on a game.
EDIT: Triple Auto-Merge break. :frown:

I may be able to help, if your used to nvidia control panel go Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings Tab > Add the game > Scroll down to bottom and use their vsync. Make sure to turn off vsync ingame btw otherwise it won't work. You could also try triple buffering if nvidia's vsync doesn't fix it. Most games vsync to 30 frames nvidia is a smooth 60 from what i've seen.
I don't quite understand screen tearing...
All of my previous monitors and my current TV are all at 60Hz refresh rates, I never play with VSYNC enabled and I get well over 60FPS a majority of the time.
Not once in my life have I seen tears on my screen.
The fuck is screen tearing anyway? I've never got it that I know of and I always turn vsync off, it's obviously nothing worth worrying about for me since I've never noticed it, but still.

Never seen anything like that with my games that I can remember.

Woah, that's one crazy ninja-ing.
My monitor is always in harmony with the games I play.
I wonder what setting elder scrolls VI will have, yes it's too early to talk about it but still. Am I the only on hoping for High Rock, having tall as hell mountains everywhere = win

i hope they wont do black marsh though.
Why boring Highrock when you can have Blackmarsh?
Why boring Highrock when you can have Blackmarsh?
I don't think marshlands would be much more interesting.
They would be terribly interesting.
How so?

Well, I suppose it could be pretty cool if they do it right. Dark atmospheric swamps full of dangerous flora and fauna would be pretty interesting, but it wouldn't be a particularly lively place because there probably aren't many large towns and nothing really goes on down there.
only argonians can survive there, haha
To be honest I think skyrim will be the most interesting one, it has always been the province or whatever that I really wanted to see.
