You had a star system, and you could get a perk if you had a certain character level, and a certain skill level, you could then purchase a perk with a dragon soul, and there where tech trees, like you needed to have one perk before you could get another. I can't remember where I saw it but I think it was four months ago in an interview with todd howard.

It looks pretty cool and buying with Dragon souls actually makes sense.

That is btw one of the trees in the Warrior section (You can make out the warrior in the nebula behind)
There are 3 like in oblivion Mage, Warrior and Thief/sneaky one.

I love my current character in Oblivion, it's actually my first playthrough. (gasp)
I'm basically good at everything.
Major Skills are Marksman, Blade, Heavy Armour, Block, Restoration, Destruction and Alteration.
It's not amazing at anything, but using sneaky bows, then destruction and swords, is awesome.
Reinstalled oblivion and installed the essential graphic mods and the stutter remover. Somehow it runs like a dream, I guess my 200+ mod game was overloaded with scripts, or maybe it was an OBSE plugin misbehaving.

when ever i see one of those anime/furry/sexslave/slutty armour mods and they have a weapons in it,
i feel i don't look at those mods in the same light as other people on the nexus
they might see "wow, now i can make my character look like -generic anime character #7482474-"
or, "wow she looks so slutty i can see her ass."
i often think, "that is a fucking cool sword and shield"
just ignore 90% of the mod just for the weapons

No it looks like that's just his current stat / max current stat. He probably has god on for trailer purposes.

I think the bonuses are dictated by what skills you use between level ups, so if you wnt strength bonuses use skills governed by strength.

What are some of the "essential" graphics mods, anyways? I almost always use Stutter Remover and Darnified UI, but I rarely delve much deeper into visual mods. Mostly due to laziness.
Does anyone know if OBGE Standalone Effects already uses OBSE - Liquid Water? I downloaded that but I'm wondering if I even need it if OBGE already uses it.
