they would probably pay you for advertising their game
I wonder what it could cost to have that painted on the side of my house
Depends on the size of the wall, If you live in a cardboard box not so much, but if you live in some gigantic vila, its gonna cost some money.

Seriously?! Just a freakin' Hig Elf? Now thats a letdown. The fight is not even challenging. I hope that wasn't the real Worm King, and the real one will return in Skyrim to kick some butt!
In Oblivion there was all this hype in the Mages Guild. One of the books described him like this:
And then you finaly meet him...

I read that that was only a body of someone he used and not his real one. Not sure if this is true though
Uh shit
I accidentally entered my birthyear in the Steam store as 2011. Now I can't get anything. What do?
Im sorry
You need to make a new steam account or wait 18 years
Im sorry
so hes 0 years old?
If he was born 2011 yes.
[editline]16th August 2011[/editline]
Also I just starting thinking about what is going to happend to this thread on game launch.
-snip- Ok sorry 3 new threads with 10000 posts of people posting everything about the game trying to be first on everything.
CHALLANGE!
Try to be the first one to post a in-game screen of the menu once It has started up.
I'm just going to pace myself with it rather than jizz all over my copy when it gets delivered.
So, I'm guessing Im going to have to stick a Quad core and a new card in this for Skyrim?
Sorry Mr.460, you served me well
a 460 should be fine... a dual core might not
running a 5770 and a core 2 duo myself, hoping on getting a i5 2500k for christmas but I'll have to put up with fairly low settings until then (or high settings but I'll lag out everywhere when there's more than one npc)
Make another steam account and gift the game to your main account.
I solved the problem. It's done. Okay? Good.
Steam Store doesn't remember your age, so you all you gotta do is delete your Steam store cookie.
(I know you sorted it, this was for the future)
It should really only ask you for your age if you aren't already signed in... and if you are signed in it should use your account for your age.
There's rumors going around in the Skyrim community that a new trailer might be unveiled today at Gamescom
As far as I know it's just the 40 minute gameplay footage from QuakeCon which will be "edited for time"
It should really only ask you for your age if you aren't already signed in... and if you are signed in it should use your account for your age.
No, it still asks you.

He's suggesting something Valve should do, not saying how it works right now.
Do I need to install any patches for oblivion pre 1.2.0416?
I'm a little bit worried.
I was hoping for the game to be available on Steam since I love buying and downloading games from their but I was doing some research and I got worried.
Since the greedy retailers demand that Skyrim doesn't get pre-purchasable on Steam, I've seen comments on how you won't be able to buy it on Steam for months after it is released. (I'm not sure if this is true or not)
I don't mind buying the retail copy if I knew Skyrim can be redeemed on Steam but there's absolutely no word about it.

Wow. I'm really failing at reading at the moment. My apologies.

Nope.
You need to install Shivering Isles though.

If it runs on shitty hardware that is a console then it should run fine on PC assuming they've properly optimized it.

I don't see how anyone can disagree with this..
While console hardware is shitty compared to PC hardware, it's made purely for gaming and is therefore less shitty than a PC with the same hardware...
I don't see how anyone can disagree with this..
Well there are two points to that.
1.) shitty hardware that is a console
This is opinion. The consoles may not be able to reach the capability of PC's but not everybody has the time or resources to keep their PC up to standards when it comes to gaming, and consoles keep a 'up-to-par' basis for gamers.
2.) it should run fine on PC assuming they've properly optimized it.
I don't think the game running well on PC is the question. It's whether or not your PC will be able to handle it.
But consoles DO have shitty hardware.

A good dual core should be fine.
Well, whilst spending his time in his nice house in Chorrol, my elf Sidonis began thinking of how much misfortune the Imperial guard has caused him. After rounding up his weapons and a nice amount of gold, he set off at night to the imperial city where he plans to assassinate every imperial watch captain. This should get interesting.
Found this interesting:

The last bit about the iron armor is interesting.
