Does anyone know how fast the health regenerates?
I don't think people would like it if it was like CoD.
A slow progressive regeneration would seem nice.
I'm pretty sure it will be super slow like 1 point every 10 seconds or so, so it will only be good to regenerate when you're not in a fight and just casually walking around.
FIGHT DRAGON 1 HP LEFT THANKS GOD ALL THIS STRAWBERRY JAM ON MY FACE WILL SOON FADE AWAY AND I'LL BE AS GOOD AS NEW, THANKS COD!
Guys you can combine two spells into one now. I think that's their new take on spellcrafting. Besides when have you ever made a legit spell that you were actually able to cast and wasn't weaker than the default spell?
When it has drain health 100 for 1 seconds attached to it :v:
Though I guess that's not legit.
Still, I'm going to miss mixing powerful destruction spells with calm spells.
They'll probably make spell crafting like you combine certain elements to form the spell you're looking for.
For exemple, you choose the element you want (fire, ice, shock, drain life, blah blah blah) and the way it's cast (projectile, ray, area-of-effect)

Maybe not... Perhaps instead of just upgrading, you can fuse them to make one stronger.
In fact, would be sweet as hell if they let you combine spells, like alchemy in Oblivion, and turn 2 useless spells in something you would might use more.
Look at the bright side, no more GIGANTIC LIST OF SPELLS THAT YOU DONT EVEN USE!
Yea that gigantic list is removed because you upgrade instead of getting the same spell but a better one. And I am pretty sure they have reworked it so that it's not set by things like Element, ranged/ontouch etc but more of an actual spell like Fireball or Chain lighting or Ice shards etc. And then you upgrade those
But I see what you are saying with the fusing but I honestly don't see how it would work, it would require a lot of work if it would be dynamic like combine any 2 spells and weird if there would only be some you could combine because then you would have to figure out which and so on, you get it.
Simply get a fireball (fire, explosive, projectile) and a chain lightning (lightning, chain, ray) and turn it into... a
fire chain projectile?
wait that sound crazy
[editline]18th August 2011[/editline]
that's obviously not ingame, but I like to imagine how awesome would be to have this kind of spell customization

@DCDeacon Can you use your fists in combat in Skyrim? If so, what skill does it fall under?

@MikeJamesB2TG Yes, you can. Isn't related to a skill.

Also confirmed on Pete's twitter are no spellcrafting, no dual wielding shields, regenerating health, and quest markers
I remember hand to hand combat had quite a few perks.
Try Two Worlds II
Try Magicka :v:
Serisuly tough Magicka did a pretty good job on it but the entire game was pretty much based on it soo.
Hey, don't be sad. I just didn't like the quest marker because it seemed like they expected nothing from me, and I was used to Daggerfall and Morrowind.
I always hated how my character would instantly know where a certain person or place was even though the quest giver only told me the name. I really loved the quests where you needed to investigate in order to find out where the place or person was.
So I'm glad that in Skyrim I'll have to have interact with locals find out where the person/place is.

You simply cannot handle the sheer amount of RUGGEDNESS in that picture.
Tyrone has never eaten before.
He likes Bread with venison, he enjoy orange juice and simply love apples
Yo'ure just racist

I read that. And it was retarded. Obsidian has no right to talk about all that with their recent 'gem' Fallout New Vegas.
This song basically summarises most of my Skyrim experience

FNV was great fun; but your right that it was no gem, more like a rough shard of shiny metal.

Exactly, don't get me wrong I enjoy it.
It's just that, they took everything Bethesda had established with FO3, and fucked it in the spinal column.
They added some great elements as well, but they changed most of what made FO3 win like 9 Game of the Year awards which pissed me off.
