I read that. And it was retarded. Obsidian has no right to talk about all that with their recent 'gem' Fallout New Vegas.
Actually, I think they made a lot of good points. Especially how RPGs sometimes ask too much of players and punish them too hard for mistakes that you'd need an external source (strategy guide or FAQ) to avoid before it's too late.
Exactly, don't get me wrong I enjoy it.
It's just that, they took everything Bethesda had established with FO3, and fucked it in the spinal column.
They added some great elements as well, but they changed most of what made FO3 win like 9 Game of the Year awards which pissed me off.
Also, I think New Vegas was much better than FO3 in every way, but that's a matter of opinion.

Changed what? Like the shitty writing? The green and brown colour scheme? The bland dialogue? The inexplicable lack of ironsights?

What the fuck do you mean by them having no right to comment on the industry they've been a part of for years just because they made a game you like but somehow didn't like? Does all their experience count for nought just because of Fallout New Vegas?

Bethesda took everything Interplay and Black Isle Studios had established and fucked that in the spinal column.
Please, tell me what they changed in Fallout New Vegas that made Fallout 3 so great?
Like I said, they added great features too, like changing the color scheme, adding iron sights, etc.
But they changed most of what the fans of Fallout 3 enjoyed such as, the perk system, the exploration, (OBSIDIAN Y U INVISIBLE WALLS EVERYWHERE!?) making the game have a non-open ending, etc.
I don't even have to mention bugs, bugs everywhere.
It's mostly opinion, I'm not getting irate, so I expect as much from you. Let's please not get into an argument about this.

Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter

What's the point of communicating annonymously worldwide instantly if you can't argue about things that don't matter in the grand scheme of things? :saddowns:

Non-open ending? You mean being railroaded through a specific path, working for people you may or may not like or agree with, was open?
Non-open ending? You mean being railroaded through a specific path, working for people you may or may not like or agree with, was open?
No, actually I meant it in the literal sense that you can't continue playing after beating the game.
Seriously stop getting so buttmad about this. I already said, I enjoy Fallout New Vegas, it was just full of bugs and not as fun compared to FO3.
Also may I further emphasize that this is mostly, OPINION.
Fallout 3 lost my attention after four hours. It was just so dry and dusty, and it lacked all the adventure that Oblivion had.
I actually agree with Pretty Obscure on this one. New Vegas was great, but I enjoyed FO3 more. The story in New Vegas was just not interesting enough imo, and the orange color overlay just was... boring.

Thanks for posting that.
Awesome song, I hadn't heard of Alestorm until now.
Liking their music.

I liked the story more in New Vegas, felt more like the original Fallouts.
And that's what Fellout is for!
Why is dual wielding shields such a wanted feature? It's pointless. Who in their right minds would run into combat with two shields?

I'm pretty sure it's all a joke. :v:
Or who knows, it could be a "Horse Armor" situation, where the community keeps asking for it then complains that it's stupid when they get it.

The green color overlay was gorgeous.

Better than the orange one IMO

If you guys are talking about the HUD, you DO know you can change that back to Green, right?
Speaking about this:

I'm talking about how everything in Fallout 3 was stained puke green.

And New Vegas was covered in piss
Is the Elder Scrolls thread still active or is this the Elder Scrolls thread now?

It is, there's even a console command related to it. It's covered in Orange

Personally I think New Vegas looks MUCH better.
NV doesn't seem tinted AS MUCH.
Though both tints are bad, and fellout is ftw.

There's a mod that makes the tint blue instead

IMO, it is too tinted (The default one, that is)
obsidian are lazy so they just thought "fuck it, instead of actually making the game look nice, we'll just change it from green to orange"
