There's still one thing that bugs me. Why the hell did they dump Spell Crafting? I mean, that was one of the specifications of The Elder Scrolls, just why the hell did they do it? What the hell were they thinking? I hate when devs do that, cut something out for no fucking given reason.
Taking spears, its half as bad. I mean, those are just weapons. But fucking spellcrafting? Why the fuck would they ever do that?
Why can't they do it like in Morrowind, have actually original spells which aren't just different looking damages, and keep spell crafting?

What if the first spells you learn are still powerful/useful late in the game by some means? Since theres only 80 now (OB had 250 something I think), maybe they all have unique advantages? It was kind of silly in OB that spells became obselete after you got rich and made ones 10x better, then staying in your inventory for the dawn of time, never being used again.
Im being a bit vague here, but with each spell having unique advantages there would be no point in making new ones as the best spells would have the unique effects.
You need to make it yourself...
Just read the wiki.

actually I believe the reason is that rather having lots and lots of variations of a particular spell (think of all the variations of fireball), you get one that gets upgraded over time

I honestly don't care about spell crafting because the only time I would use it was to make some fun OP spell by cheating soul gems and money to myself. And Enchanting armor and weapons will still be in the game btw.

This is pretty much it, no doubt we'll still be able to create ridiculously OP'd spells in the creation kit that they release and be able to place them in certain spots in the world, that's how we used to do it in the old days of never winter nights

I haven't been here for about 2-3 threads.
Is there any info on stats? I really would like Orcs to be strong and not be strong in the first 3 levels and then average later on.
Also, at start will you be able to choose race?
Oh, goddamnit, now I'm noticing the lack of NPC schedules in Morrowind.

Why wouldn't you be able to choose a race?
-Snip-
That's for advertisement purposes, seeing as you're in Skyrim the home of the Nords, they thought it'd be best to show the nords off first.
Because in the trailer you're a Nord. I'm just curious.
In the trailer for Oblivion the Champion of Cyrodil was shown as Imperial, Shepard in Mass Effect adverts has Vanderloo's face. The Heroes in Fable adverts is shown as a good, pure male (with sometimes his relfection being evil, corrupt male).

I always loved the
