Also it confollicts with deadly reflex, what a shame because it looks fucking amazing: compare that to vanilla oblivion's third person camera
fuck it, deadly reflex is less important than this [editline]20th August 2011[/editline]
I remember trying that third person mod a while back. Yeah, it looked great and fucked with the first person view for no goddamn reason. Disappointing as hell. Also, I still love how many mod makers on the Nexus have really shitty hair mods and creepy, out-of-place "kawaii" race mods in their demonstration media. I still don't really know what all of them see in having embarrassingly over-exaggerated hair that fits into the art style about as well as a butcher knife into a bell-end.
Of all the hundreds of hairs in shitloads of hair mods release over the years, there have been about a grand total of 2 hairs that are any good.
fuck it, deadly reflex is less important than this
I'm one of the few that don't use Deadly Reflex at all. I just can't be assed to add new buttons to my gameplay, laziness really. I would use that 3rd person mod, but I love First Person. Not so long ago I downloaded a First Person Animation set that added head bobbing.
This thread made me want to play Oblivion again. I would really like to play this game with mods. Is there any must-haves?
I really don't know which one it is, I'm no expert. Best advice I can give you is make sure it's sorted with BOSS, and either disable them one by one until it works, or disable all of them except for Oblivion+Official DLC and ENABLE one by one until it works.
I already did all of that, nothing changed. Oh and fresh from LMAO pics:

I want to play on my 360 but I've run out of batteries... [editline]20th August 2011[/editline]
This face gets me everytime... [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/578931676617243864/E7EBC77B9B3C4FBE4CD54CA74CFAFB55D6B08DDC/[/t]
Totally not evil.
I want to play on my 360 but I've run out of batteries...
I pity console users that buy Elder Scrolls / Fallout 3 / New Vegas games. I wouldn't be able to play Oblivion without mods. If anything, Darnified UI is a necessity for me. Vanilla UI is terrible.

Oh and fresh from LMAO pics:
Sometimes I really do feel like I'm the only person in the world who actually understood the persuasion mini-game and didn't have any issues with it.
Sometimes I really do feel like I'm the only person in the world who actually understood the persuasion mini-game and didn't have any issues with it.
I know how you feel, but sometimes you'll get bullshit rolls on how filled up some sections are (e.g. each section filled 1/8).

Imagine it on PC, full settings and graphics mods.
Sometimes I really do feel like I'm the only person in the world who actually understood the persuasion mini-game and didn't have any issues with it.
It was really easy once you knew what you were supposed to do, I just thought after a couple of NPCs it got very boring.
Oblivion crashes to desktop with no error message as soon as I start the game, can anyone help me?
It was really easy once you knew what you were supposed to do, I just thought after a couple of NPCs it got very boring.
After i failed the first 3, i just bribed them. [editline]20th August 2011[/editline]
Oblivion crashes to desktop with no error message as soon as I start the game, can anyone help me?
Mods?
After i failed the first 3, i just bribed them.
Only time I've bribed people is when I've clicked the button accidentally. The first time I've tried at persuasion I had no idea what I was SUPPOSED to do, but after I Googled it and understood the point I do it just fine.
I know been posted before but has anybody else noticed how fucking good that dog looks. My god.
The dog should have physx so that when he runs around all his hair and ears flap around among other things.
The dog should have physx so that when he runs around all his hair and ears flap around among other things.
And rape my CPU :buddy:
You are.
Simple way to win at the persuasion mini-gaem. Make sure the smallest bar is used on the things people hate, and try to use the biggest bar on ones they like. Plan ahead to get the best outcomes.
I know been posted before but has anybody else noticed how fucking good that dog looks. My dog.
fixed :v:
Nevermind, I fixed it.
And rape my CPU :buddy:
I hate how Physx is not optimized for ATi. Although, it gives you a good reason to buy an nVidia card (albiet a small reason)
No I never, now it just crashes while loading. [editline]20th August 2011[/editline] Okay, time to reinstall.
I just looked through some comments on some Morrowind and Daggerfall videos on youtube. And oh my god, Oblivion must have spawned some of the most atrocious 12 year olds ever.
I hate how Physx is not optimized for ATi. Although, it gives you a good reason to buy an nVidia card (albiet a small reason)
It's because it makes use of the Cuda cores on the nvidia cards I believe (I may be wrong here, correct me if I am) ATI doesn't have CUDA cores, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be possible to run physx on the hardware; GPCPU tech has been around for long enough for physics of any sort to run on GPU, hell even crysis lets you do physics on the GPU so it kind of annoys me that PhysX is nvidia only. It's a nice way for them to get ahead in terms of competition and stuff, but honestly, I don't want to be punished by video games for choosing to buy an AMD/ATI card by missing out on features that could honestly be just as easily processed on my video card as the equivelent nvidia
I hope they take some hints from Fallout and use their speech system
I hated how I had to upgrade a skill just to complete a single speech challenge, I liked how the minigame made it possible for even people who haven't upgraded the skill, but I guess that's not how an rpg works.
After i failed the first 3, i just bribed them.
I remember not knowing what "bribe" meant when I first played Oblivion and I just thought I paid with bonus points I got for being good at the minigame. I got a little frustrated when I went from Cloud Ruler Temple and to the market district in the imperial city and back a few times to sell all the katanas, but all my money "mysteriously" disappeared because I bribed the merchants to get better prices.
