Oblivion XP mod is so amazing. I hate the leveling system in Oblivion. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] About DarnUI, is there a way to save your configuration? Because every time I configure it and then quit the game, once I restart it's the default again.
I'm reading about this mod you suggested, and it indeed seems very balanced. Does it make so that if you headshot someone, the damage is higher? If so, I'm downloading it right now.
Head, neck, groin and calves are critical damage points I think.
Anyone else notice this? In the first oblivion gate right outside Kvatch there would be a dead "Daedra Scout" and you could loot its bow and arrows. I've always wondered why that was there.
I always beat a game on vanilla before installing mods
Only time I didn't do that was with New Vegas, but that was to add Fellout and Project Nevada, so it was more enhancement then anything.
So many big games coming out this November.
I'm uploading a video right now to show you guys what I'm talking about. I'm 100% sure that I'm doing something wrong. Here it is. Stupid Sony Vegas bugging up the rendering, the game is not as laggy as it looks.
Looks like you were doing just fine to me.
In almost 100% of cases, anything that may seem like a shortcoming on your part is actually the game trying to fuck you over in every way possible. Come to think of it, level scaling is just the game trying to elaborately fuck you over, frustrate you and just break your immersion all at the same time.
There should be a easter egg that makes Trolls this thing to see if anyone gets the reference.
Love how they constantly praise the beauty of the various areas with a single sign making note of the various monsters in the area, but then suddenly HORDES OF KIDNAPPERS, BLACK MERMAIDS, FISHMEN, AND TROLLS AUUUWAAAAGH
I hope betheseda listens to me and adds a shitting minigame.
Oh, I thought you were joking before. Suddenly, your posts are a lot less funny.
Everything should be a minigame. Heavy Rain all over again.
Anyone think this game would run on a 2.66Ghz Core 2 Duo? I've got no chance to upgrade that until July of next year... So I'm stuck with that and a 560 Ti (Which I'll be getting at Christmas). I may just want to switch my pre-order to the PC version if so. And buy a wireless gamepad and six foot HDMI+3.5mm audio cable bundle.
You can imagine my confusion when my attack didn't do anything at all.
Head, neck, groin and calves are critical damage points I think.
Installed, and it's a lot more balanced than oblivion's default. While bows and arrows do a lot more damage, bows break faster, arrows break too, running backwards makes you fall if there are stairs, corpses etc.
Yeah, you have to have arrow cases or something when you have arrows loose in your inventory because they damage if you fall, get hit and things like that. I think it requires Shivering Isles though, which is why I have to make do with another mod with less awesome features.

This time, though... I did it at level 21. I still made myself level 25 when I was done, but I just lost patience with the leveling.

Giving DaggerXL a try. I wish the gameplay was more functional (it's buggy as heck and highly incomplete) because this shit makes daggerfall awesome on a whole new level

large: http://i.imgur.com/WTaHE.jpg
Oh, that's awewsome. That's really awesome. Is it a work in progress, or has it been abandoned?
Work in progress. Lots of works till being done. The engine seems to be largely functional, but its all the things like npc characteristics and inventory screens and whatnot that dont work. No people in streets, cant make custom classes, cant remove armor pieces (needs to be replaced with something else, impossible to actually take it off) Its very impressive, but by no stretch is it actually playable. Looking forward to when I can actually play through daggerfall in true, non-software 3d with bloom, hdr and a huge draw distance.
Oh man, I'm exited now  I love Daggerfall, I still play it. To see it rejuvinated is just brilliant.
I'm just doing Morrowind. I just saw everything that is there to see in Oblivion. Morrowind on the other hand... I never completed it 100%. Honestly, all i did back in Morrowind day was adventuring from City to city, enjoying the scenery, the world design and occasionally killing something. I didn't even got to Caius Coscades because I said "Fuck all of them quests." So its basically almost like a new elder scrolls game for me :v: [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] Oh yeah, and back in the day my biggest fortune in Morrowind was 2000 :v:
Guys, can Streamline 3 fuck with your FPS? Because I keep lagging using it, amd my settings are all wrong yet if I go to the menu it's set up alright.

I found out what you're doing wrong! You're using a bow!
Like stealing something and placing it in someones bag and have the guards jump him for thievery.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19847 :eng101:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19847 :eng101:
This mod is gay, cause it make people hate you when you throw their stuff around. I loved when my character completed a mission and then went batshit insane and started hurling dead enemies and fruits around the guy's house
There will be a system in Skyrim that makes citizens who notice you drop a sword come to you with it. Imagine how annoying it would be if you are over-ecombered and need to drop something in the middle of a town.

"hey mister, you dropped this"
Or if you put your sword up on a shelf, leave your house and some random person who raided your house tell you you "lost" all the stuff you put in it.
