Or if you put your sword up on a shelf, leave your house and some random person who raided your house tell you you "lost" all the stuff you put in it.
suddenly your carrying a full house worth of goods over encumbered in the middle of battle. carrying about 20 pots and pans and entire wardrobes full of cloths and entire wine cellars.
In that case, it would be hilarious to se someone fight over some crap you accedentally looted. :v:
So, some of LAME's shaders don't work, I still have the vanilla fire/frost damage weapons shaders. What do?
wow that's so lame

I hope you can frame people in this game.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm8JPu1jt58&feature=player_embedded nothing new really. I'm glad the lockpicking will be the same as fallout 3 though, it's far superior to oblivion.

It was based off of user skill, and you could pick any lock if you knew what you were doing without having to put points into your lockpicking skill like in Fallout.

But that's metagaming. People with a great timing would just discart lockpicking skill on Oblivion and get something instead, even thou their character were like... a mage that would never lockpick or a warrior that was too clumsy. Putting skill make the character less totally player skill based and more game skill relied [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] Oh shit, you can craft your armor and shit now?! OH MY THUNDER TIT NIPPLES I'M SO GOING TO LOVE THIS GAME!

I like the lockpicking in Fallout too. It's just the skill restrictions that bug me, I'm sure I'll live.

Yeah, the lockpicking minigame in fallout 3/NV is way better than Oblivion's. If the lock is out of your skill range though they shouldn't make it impossible to even attempt to pick, just make the minigame really hard and give you a lot of skill points if you manage it.
This, I hate having to leave locked doors behind just because the game says I'm too shitty to open it
At least in New Vegas a lot of times there was a terminal that you could hack to unlock the door. More than not the player will have at least one of Science or Lockpicking. I just don't see how they would implement that in Skyrim, since there are no computers..

On oblivion it was "easy" to surpass the lockpick challenge with enough training. While on fallout it was totally unfair, leaving all these doors locked and containers NOT LOOTED just cause my character didnt had enough lockpick (even thou he had like... 37). There should be several types of locks in skyrim, certain ones should be extremely difficult to figure out and even require more lockpicks when you dont have enough lockpicking skill. Pre-ordered Skyrim today. I now have four hopefully good games pre-ordered (BF3, Red Orchestra 2, Space Marine and this).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm8JPu1jt58 Not much new info, apparently lockpicking will be "almost exactly" like Fallout 3. Which is nice I suppose as F3's lockpicking looked cooler and was less annoying, but it felt like it was much easier to do than Oblivions, which was already easy to do at any skill level if you knew what you were doing. At least this time you'll be locked out of trying higher level locks I bet if you have low skill, which I didn't think Oblivion did. EDIT: Damn ninja'd :(
There will be a system in Skyrim that makes citizens who notice you drop a sword come to you with it. Imagine how annoying it would be if you are over-ecombered and need to drop something in the middle of a town.
I suppose they'll ask you if you want it back, not force it on you and pause your game (no zoom in pause everything else chats anymore, yes!) they can also fight over that stuff, solution? drop everything near beggars.
