Seriously?
Seriously?
I don't know if you've heard of them, but there are things called jokes.
They sometimes go over people's heads.
Maybe that's why you've never heard of them.
Why are so many people asking if their PC will run the game when it runs on an Xbox 360?
Could be because the Xbox 360 ran GTA IV but you'd need a Nasa supercomputer to run GTA IV - PC perfectly
If bethesda does an immaculate optimization job on their new engine then it should not be a problem.

I know what a joke is, asshole, I just don't see the humor in that at all.
Why do all of the new files on TESNexus suck so badly? I want to see something uploaded that ISN'T extremely overpowered revealing female armor for a change...
was it the same demo todd plays over and over

same demo but completely free roam I ended up finding a cave with a necromancer and killing him. And the diagonal animations were nice. I jumped into a flowing river and fell off a waterfall due to the flow. The game is great. Taking a short break at hotel.
How are the object physics?
Like the small stuff you'll find on shelves, desks, tables and counters?
Also how many objects are there usually in a shop or inn? One of the things I liked in Oblivion were the small objects you could pick up and throw around and how many were on screen.

Then I am sorry, "asshole", for insinuating you were a dumb fuck for not distinguishing a serious post from an obviously sarcastic one, when instead all that was happening was you being Mr. Grumpy Pants.
Again, my apologies. It won't happen again.

That's awesome. Flowing rivers? That explains why Todd didn't want to get into the water at Quakecon, and only did so for a second. It would have fucked up the demo if he had been carried away. :v:
I didn't have time to explore many buildings. Physics from what I saw were decent. Also the water flow isn't super strong but it can catch you offguard.

would be awesome if water flow got stronger according to the weather

were items carried away by it either?
apparently im from norway now :v:
Don't know. But I saw a moose struggling against it.
Were the voices of the random NPC's adequately varied?
this just in: moose's can't swim
stay tuned for more info

There are mooses in this game?
I'd say "instant-buy", but I already preordered this game weeks ago...
Did you see any mudcrabs?

Is there going to be moose in Skyrim!? I'm expecting getting clock'd on this post.
[editline]tomorrow[/editline]
More info? *expects Bethesda's official content dump day tomorrow*
Did you see any mudcrabs?
Yes.
But he steered well clear of it.
Maybe they really are fiercesome in Skyrim.
Oh the terror.
I'm kinda worried that they're releasing too much information and that when it comes round to release we'll know everything about the game.
[editline]26th August 2011[/editline]
it's like the game should be released next month, not in November

I've heard others say the same.

I think Bethesda has learned from Obsidian's mistakes.
Also, we don't know much about the story except that you are dragonborn, the high king of Skyrim was assassinated (how original and not gotten from Oblivion), Alduin has returned and dragons are flying around the land (but nobody knows why they are there).

When referring to a group, one uses the singular has, not have.
(I'm sorry but this really bugs the crap out of me.)

You know what bugs me.... your avatar.

If you mean the dragons thing, I didn't use "has returned" on them too. Those parts where separate parts. I'll go add "dragons have *something*" since you find it annoying.
[editline]I'm guessing nobody will quote this post, so I'll just add this long sentence here instead of just a word like "today", "yesterday" or "tomorrow" because I am tired and will soon go to bed... soon...[/editline]
fix'd
Holy shit only two months left guys.
Holy shit only two months left guys.
77 days isn't two months...

(I'm sorry but this really bugs the crap out of me.)
Many people say a company "have" because they represent a large group of people just as much as they represent a singular entity. To better articulate it, a common reversal of this phenomenon is when people say the United States "has" (or is, does, etc...) despite "states" being plural.

Company is a noun, and is used in the singular form, and "The United States" is also singular, hence united.
Take Bethesda and replace it with the appropriate noun, The Company.
Now use it in a sentence, "Bethesda have learned from Obsidian's mistakes." use the noun, "The Company have learned from Obsidian's mistakes." Does that make sense? No.
And it all depends on whether or not you're using the present or past tense.
