It FIXED, now let's discuss Skyrim.
It FIXED, now let's discuss Skyrim.
I'm sorry, I wasn't meaning to be a dick about it. It's just something that bothers me and i couldn't stop myself from complaining.
I know, I tend to be a grammar nazi sometimes, but something that keeps bugging me is that we tend to keep getting off-topic all the time.
77 days isn't two months...
75 days, 22 hours, 9 minutes and 49 seconds, actually. [editline]27th August 2011[/editline]
75 days, 22 hours, 9 minutes and 49 seconds, actually. :v:
I bought someone Portal 2 in February, and he just returned the favor by buying me Skyrim!

Guys, I'm trying to play with OBGE (Oblivion Graphics Extender), but shit like this keeps happening: When in first-person, the game keeps flickering between blurry and normal, from this: to this: And whenever I'm on third-person, and things like the entrance to the shivering isles are on my field of view, the screens goes blurry. Any tips? The only shader active atm is realistic water. I guess this is something related to OBGE's shaders, but I'm not sure how :v: Keep in mind that this started to show up for no reasons at all, since it was working just fine a few days ago.
turn off depth of field
how? Don't blame me, blame my fast reflexes at asking it, before I put my hands trying to fix it :v: I'm going to fiddle around with it's settings
turn off depth of field
He said he only had the realistic water shader active...
I tried changing bUseDepthBuffer=1 to 0, but then my water is messed up too, as the own readme says: "This will however cause any shader effect that uses the depth buffer to stop working properly. From the OBGEv3 shaders, this currently includes all the Ambient Occlusion and Depth of Field shaders and the Godrays, NormalFilterAA and CelShader+EdgeAA shaders." The blurry shit is gone though. This page entirely dedicated to my shitty problem.
I hope that for conjuration in skyrim we can summon more than just one minion at once
I'm not worried about mudcrabs, oh no. I'm worried about bearded Mudcrabs. Those things can down a tankard of ale in no time and can make off with your beard-horse and beard-wife before you know it. Nasty creatures...
holy shit is bethesda and microsoft serious http://screwattack.com/blogs/ScrewAttack-News/30-days-of-Xbox-360-exclusivity-for-Skyrim-DLC

I'm getting the game on xbox and I see utterly no point to making it exclusive for 30 days. This is probably some sort of fucked up ploy to release dlc while its still in beta :v:
More time to fix any outstanding bugs and shit is how I look at it.
But are they going to use the time to fix bugs, that is the question.
ugh for fuck sake people, stop getting your dlc hate on; they've made an agreement with microsoft to release dlc exclusively for 30 days on their console, wasn't there a similar situation with fallout 3? Bethesda and Microsoft love eachother and it's probably a good thing, so far everything we've seen has looked more or less fantastic and that's running on the 360, we don't know how it will compare on ps3 or pc yet, obviously it's part of a marketing agreement that benefits both of them Just because they've agreed for 30 day exclusive dlc does NOT mean they are already working on dlc pre release, Let that sink in for a moment, and stop getting annoyed over little marketing agreements that currently (that's not to say that they wont announce something closer in) have NOTHING to do with what we'll get on the release date, who gives a fuck if we have to wait an extra 30 days to get DLC for pc and ps3 when they DO do it, i've waited 5 years for this game, I can wait 30 days for some fucking horse armor that i'll probably never use. Or shivering isle sized expansions for that matter, in those 30 days i'll have loads of time to prepare myself by doing sidequests
it's probably the catch or fine print in the microsoft contracts that's how it was for GTA's expansions I think
And it's not just Bethesda. Microsoft has multiple companies under the same Contract including Activision.
And it's not just Bethesda. Microsoft has multiple companies under the same Contract including Activision.
Doesn't make it any less stupid.
While there is a side of it that makes me upset that I can't get it sooner, there is the other side that makes me a bit pleased I can watch reviews and impressions to see if it is worth the money.
While there is a side of it that makes me upset that I can't get it sooner, there is the other side that makes me a bit pleased I can watch reviews and impressions to see if it is worth the money.
If Skyrim itself turns out to be as good as it looks, and the DLC IS expansion sized and not micro, I'm sure it WILL be worth the money.
I really need some help. I fucking can't get archive invalidation to work. Is there anything special I must do with the Steam version or...? I tried both the OMM and regular .bsa, neither works.
And it's not just Bethesda. Microsoft has multiple companies under the same Contract including Activision.
Well they need something because they're failing miserably with the exclusives.
I miss that thread [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] Anyone ever actually try this?
I did. It was alright, for a mobile game on a flip phone.

No weapon/armour degradation confirmed :(
@DCDeacon Hey Pete, I'm just wondering, do weapons and armor degrade in Skyrim, like with their own health? Also, is there visual damage? @elderscrollsftw No and no.
I'm going to assume they make an oblivion reference, seeing as the last time anybody has seen a dragon was when [sp]Martin was an idiot and broke the amulet, thus closing oblivion, but also making it easier for that world eating dragon motherfucker to get to skyrim.[/sp]
