Infect one in a village and come back two weeks later, the entire village are now vampires. It would have it downsides, though.

As to the month-long period of Xbox exclusivity for the DLC, does it even really matter? Bethesda DLC is always dwarfed by the amazing (or horrifying) stuff the modding community can churn out.

Although I'll admit that I'm a little fuckin' peeved that they're announcing paid DLC before the game is even released. That shit really gets my goat, but it's a popular trend these days. When I buy a game, I expect to have the [i]full game[/i], and when a company has launch-day DLC, or DLC planned this far in advance, it just makes it feel like they're intentionally deriving their customers of the full experience, and that is most supremely uncool.

Because I hate day 1 DLCs that you have to pay for. The only thing I see DLC is good for is when a company produces something after the release they they want into the game. Now timed exclusives or similar for Pre-orders I'm fine with but having content ready when the game is done but keeping it from us unless we pay I do not agree with.

You're missing a lot of things.

1. Only dragonborns can wear the amulet.

2. Alduin and akatosh are the same.

3. Alduin returning was a prophecy foretold by an elder scroll, and in it says that after the jaws of oblivion open and when the sons of skyrim would spill their own blood, alduin would return. It also says that all the events of previous TES games would have to been fulfilled to complete the prophecy.
