I hope thats the case. Soultrapping a "grand" daedra, that is.

That's not smithing, it is more enchanting, but I like the idea. Through, I'd like daedra armor/weapons only to be summoned with spells, it kind of makes it seem rare and powerful.

Will you enchant your armor while blacksmithing?
We never know.

Ok enough lame jokes for this thread.

Well, in lore Daedric weapon do exist. They dont *need* to be from the daedric realm.
basically its just really, really high qaulity ebony armor with the soul of a deadra essentially pounded into it as its being made. Its not exactly enchanting so much as it is literally fusing the creature into the armor... or so the lore makes it sound.

Daedric is Ebony made/enchanted with the souls of Daedra.
They aren't in hiding though. They kind of disappeared and no one actually knows why
But maybe they're just in hiding! We don't know! :v:

They're not that hard to make if you know what you are doing. All you have to do is to forcefully bind a daedric soul to an ebony weapon/armor, a bit of ritualistic formalities and you are pretty much done. Or smash its face onto the ebony with a hammer.
To be honest I like this idea of master smiths being knowledgeable in the arcane arts of enchanting, gives them this air of mystery and wisdom. There were these two smiths that made that artifact sword in Tribunal for a noble (the Bipolar sword iirc) both halves were enchanted.
Daedric is Ebony made/enchanted with the souls of Daedra.
Made being the keyword, its not enchanting exactly. Hopefully they made something neat for it, I'll be let down if it's just a menu that gives you an option to make daedric armor and then *bam*, it's done.
A friend of mine told me about his love for stuff on which man-made languages are present, huge-ass backstories and such. I smeared the elder scrolls series all over his face and he said something along the lines of: "Stop, you're frightening me". Said it was too much for him to handle :v: , after all, the lore IS huge

what I do love is even though the elder scrolls games are really clunky and funky, under it all is a really well thought out backstory and lore, with lots of work put into it
I finally managed to be able to level myself up a couple of times in Morrowind. It seems like all the funds I get from quests (I'm trying to do the Fighter's Guild AND Thieves Guild quests side-by-side for... some reason.) go directly into training my shittier Major-And-Minor skills (my Security and Sneak skills need massive boosts if I'm to be a competent thief). I really need to get myself into the higher-paying quests, so I can afford better equipment AND training.

Including the parts were you realize there are like 3 explanations for 1 historical event.
Then bitching about which one is right, always fun.
Sorry, I don't know where else to put this, but I am looking for a program for Oblivion. I want to make enchanted items and custom spells without the in-game restrictions (I.E. a ring of Fortify Speed for 200 points, 100 chameleon on target for 1000 seconds, stuff like that). Does anybody know of anything that can do stuff like that?

Right, thanks.
I like how in the leaked PAX video the argonian actually had reptilian hands instead of normal hands with a fancy texture.
They just released new footage
Yea I think that sealed the deal for me. I'm going to make an argonian.

Might just get it on Amazon with Amazon Prime. £27!
they're the dwarves of the elderscrolls only they arent dwarves
Fancy ass reptilian hands footage is at this post: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1102530-The-Elder-Scrolls-V-Skyrim-V5-But-there-is-one-they-fear-Dragon-porn%21?p=32001419&viewfull=1#post32001419
THAT'S MORE THEN TWELVE SECONDS, BITCHES!
YES! We can use poisons to kill people in this game!
I spent ages trying to do that in Oblivion, only to get the "You cannot place items into a container while pickpocketing" message.
Jeez, that's 12 hours old man.
Jeez, that's 12 hours old man.
Haven't had access to the internet all day. Sorry.
Also, no boats... That makes me sad.

Well, there's not a lot of open bodies of water in Skyrim so it sort of makes sense.

Looks like human hands with scale texture to me.
When will the option to preorder via steam end? I won't get money til around the 29th of October which is cutting it a bit thin, but d'you reckon they'll keep it for that long?

I think it may be something similar to Fallout's crafting, where you need specific parts for each armor.
Wood armor.
I want to get Skryim for the PC because personally i do not like how consoles run games lately. So heres the specs, tell me what you think
OP: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz (2CPUs)
Memory: 3326MB RAM
Gfx card: GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB
I really do not want to have to shell out on an upgrade. But i would like to know how my computer could run it

They'll keep it until it's released.
Get on Amazon though, way cheaper, especially since you're in the UK as well.
