I dunno about everyone else but I don't want a game that is only good with mods
I like to think they are lying all the cool things I expected them to do but they didnt and when I start playing will be like BETHESDA YOU SLY MOTHERFUCKER while crying because i'm so happy also what with people wanting bananas? unless they are wierd ass peeps that want to make sexual joke, why would they even want it? [editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
I dunno about everyone else but I don't want a game that is only good with mods
this, man
I dunno about everyone else but I don't want a game that is only good with mods
I'll do as most other people, one full vanilla playthrough, then I'll download all the conflicting porn mods I can find. :v:
I dunno about everyone else but I don't want a game that is only good with mods
So that's why the developers working on the major things which will make this game good while the modders will create mods of content that the developers hadn't had the time/resources to put into the game. Surely armors without cosmetic changes is not a "no buy" for you right?
No but when someone is annoyed at something that isn't in the game, most people go 'wait for mods' And there won't be a mod for EVERY annoyance anyway, so it'd be better if the things we wanted were ingame, I mean, we obviously can't have everything we want, but surely it's not too hard to listen to the crowd. And cosmetic changes probably aren't the hardest things to do for the devs.

I don't think that type of issue was endemic around Morrowind or Oblivion (penises and gameplay mods aside.)

Also, modding tools for games (even PC games now days) are actually not as common as they were in the past so the developers do supports the crowed.

Perhaps cause I was expecting way too much from it.
All I'm saying is, I don't think we should shout 'MODS' every time we see that something will not be in the game. Because really, I'd rather not have to download stuff to make the game worthwhile. I still am probably getting it though, but that's not the point okay :v: But I suppose some of what I'm saying is due to the hype that surrounded the game, before all these details were shown. And we've also got to remember that this game isn't finished yet and they still may change, add, or remove things.
I still am probably getting it though,
You'll be just as ecstatic as the rest of us to get your hands on a copy don't lie :v:
Dunno if I can run it yet, haha oh god I hope I can [editline]30th August 2011[/editline] Your avatar is a pony again. Why don't you just change your avatar to a pink ultra marine or something

But since it looks like Skyrim will be a solid, good game (I'm not saying that it will be for a certainty) there is no reason for people not to look forward for mods that will enhance the player experience (like what happened with Oblivion).

Only things I really want are already in. A pretty marine in Beakie armor. AWESOME.
I don't know why you guys don't like the fact that armor upgrades have no visual effect, I mean, now you can upgrade an awesome looking armor to be good! I can even imagine a shirt getting used in battle. :v:

Black lipstick? What?
Black lipstick? What?
Are you talking about the "black metal warpaint" on the male nord to the right or the brownish lipstick on the female nord? [sp]They are both horse shit[/sp]

We start in a prison again and again. :v:
We start in a prison again and again. :v:
It's a tradition, ever since Arena.
We start in a prison :v:
!MESSAGE APPEARS! :v:
Use the mouse to look around. you can use the W and S keys to move forwards and backwards

We start in a prison again and again. :v:
If I was a King, I'ld never trust a prisoner to be a new found Hero :v: . "What's he in jail for?" "We saw him levitating a bread" "WOAH THE PROPHECY IS COMPLETE"
It's a tradition, ever since Arena.
Except Daggerfall. (And Battlespire and Redguard but they don't count) (And technically Morrowind because you start on a prison ship) (Could the Oblivion cell be the same one as the one in Arena? They're both supposed to be in the Imperial Dungeons so...) (Why am I writing all these things in brackets)
Can someone please post the image of someone wielding two shields and standing on a rock or something?
