not changing appearance means you can upgrade it infinitely, but if there was changing appearances then it would have a cap so that it wouldn't start taking up a bunch of memory to have a different model for every piece of armor and weapons

There is a theoretical lever cap at level 25 IIRC, after that you would level a lot slower.

Ok, I see. I wasn't sure, that's why I put the "If I remember correctly" in a shortened word there.
I actually like the idea of not being able to get all the perks with one character, so you really have to specialize in one/a couple skills.
If you could have all you would be much too overpowered.
I think it adds a lot more replay value, because ervery character will be much more unique.
hopefully the guild quests are more specialised, in Oblivion you could be Arch-Mage without knowing a lick of magic.
They probably are. Perhaps they won't even LET you be the head of the guild if you haven't got good enough level in that area?
Or perhaps you will have to fight enemies more susceptible to that area?

Mages guild in Oblivion:
1. Do simple tasks.
2. Beat up necromancers.
3. Become a guild master because the last one [sp]killed himself[/sp].
You can't become headmaster/dean/Arch-mage in this game, they've said it before :v:

I think I read somewhere the the mage's guild will be in a (something on W) college.
I'm pretty sure you can become guild master and that it would be more to it than the end of the guild quests.
