I'm pretty sure you can become guild master and that it would be more to it than the end of the guild quests. [editline]31st August 2011[/editline] http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1225741-new-nerd-trek-qa-released/
That's weird, they've announced quite a few times that there will be no guildmastering for the player. Oh well. And it's called the College of Winterhold, and I accidentally put Dean AND Arch-Mage :v:
-whoop late-

Fucking sward games, get guns. We aren't in a stone age anymore. BF3 is the only game that people should play! It is much better than some elder scrolls shit!!
fucking love gametrailers
Skill checks. Like in Morrowind. Can't have Vilefeast Bloodsausage the Barbaric Berzerker as the dean of the College of Winterhold.
Thousands of times this. Having played Oblivion for some time, I was rather surprised when I ended up in a rather high rank of the Dark Brotherhood when the stealthiest approach I knew was "set that shit on fire and run". Then I started playing Morrowind, saw the skill requirements for the various guilds and I was like "whoa, this is DEFINITELY a step forward from Oblivion". Then I realized this game was way older, that Bethesda will never make something as beautifully complex as this again, and wept a little.

If i think that this sword shit fuck is total piece of shit why i can't say it. Fuck this!!
I wonder if i can be male and marry another man in skyrim :P
I wonder if i can be male and marry another man in skyrim :P
Same Sex Marriages have already been confirmed.
fucking love gametrailers
Gametrailers has always been a cesspool of stupid.
fucking love gametrailers
DragonWarrior - You would think with a name like this he would be PRO-SWORDS, '98 - Ah, this explains it.
I would like guild masters and certain masters-at-arms (or magic) to have skill levels over 100, and that it would actually affect their combat prowess. It would make sense since they are utterly devoted to their craft, but you can still beat them, being the jack of all trades that you could be.

Special 'Trained with the master' perks. Me Want. Why couldn't I be there at the planning meetings. [editline]31st August 2011[/editline] I have idea. DLC: "True Myth." "Vvardenfell has been destroyed, Morrowind overrun and yet our savior is nowhere to be found." "The faith of our people has been tested, many a time... But now it has become a shadow of it's former self" "The people have been subjugated, enslaved and killed" "It cannot go on for much longer" "As ordinators, we have been sworn to protect Morrowind and it's faith." "We have failed. We NEED the people, the black marsh armies are too numerous for us alone to repel" "We need the Nerevarine" A group of high ordinators have traveled to skyrim, part of an expedition to trace and find the Nerevarine. Before now, the Nerevarine was thought to be the stuff of myth and legends outside of Morrowind. Using your skills you will have to track the Nerevarine down while being chased yourself by a zealous Argonian commander from the armies of Black Marsh.
So, if I marry a woman and we live happily ever after, can I choose what skill sets she'd be experienced in? Like, if I marry the local barmaid, can I train her to be an Archer or train a maid to be a fierce axe wielding barbarian?

She would do well in a fight.
You know, the Nerevarine went missing and/or died in Akavir 200 something years ago, right?
Ehh no. Nerevarine is: 1. A badass. 2. Practically Immortal due to tamed corprus 3. Fucking strong due to said Corprus. 4. Blessed and watched over by a deadric prince 5. Defeated a daedric prince IN THEIR OWN REALM 6. IS ALSO the BLOODSKAL (Therefore nords respect him) 7. Wraithguard 8. Now has 200 years of battle experience and secret knowledge from the land of Akavir.

I like Oblivion better as despite it being riddled with flaws they don't affect the overall experience as much as Morrowind's.
Like, if I marry the local barmaid, can I train her to be an Archer or train a maid to be a fierce axe wielding barbarian?
No, but you can train her to pour you ale.
I was just dicking around in my game design class today and I noticed a couple screens of Skyrim around the classroom. I asked the teacher if she was looking forward to Skyrim and she just went "yeah I love The Elder Scrolls series" :v:
I want the Nerevarine to return to Tamriel in conquest, having united the kingdoms of Akavir. That'd be cash

two motherfucking months me too mcpaddyquack. all the teachers in the design school I go to are men. I really wish one of them was a hot teacher.
Well, here's to Skyrim being the first retail game I pre-order and pay full price for.
Well, here's to Skyrim being the first retail game I pre-order and pay full price for.
You don't toast (as in cheers) to a video game.
You don't toast (as in cheers) to a video game.
Surely we can make an exception for Skyrim?
You don't toast (as in cheers) to a video game.
You can toast to whatever you want. That's the point of a toast.
You don't toast (as in cheers) to a video game.
Can you toast to a piece of toast?
Can you toast to a piece of toast?
I suppose... A toast applies to any person or thing held with praise and/or honor. So if you praise toast, yes. You can.
What the hell is with you people.
What the hell is with you people.
A toast to Mcpaddyquack for saying what everyone is thinking!
