Never found myself staring at the character's ass, never. Be it male or female (I'll obviously see a dat ass if it's there, but I won't be staring at it).
Except for when it jumps all over the place when they walk (in this case not due to it being an ass, just that fast moving things obviously attract my attention).

So I decided to try out Hand-to-Hand as a major skill in Oblivion today, and goddamn this REALLY makes we want there to be Hand-to-Hand perks in Skyrim. There's something far more satisfying about bashing a Skeleton's skull in with your bare hands than doing the same with a sword or mace.

Also bHealthBarShowing=1 is awesome in my opinion, although it detracts from the game's aesthetic a bit. (FYI, it makes people have health bars above their head a la old school RPGs)

Im hoping for something like brass knuckles in the game. I know its kinda out of place but hand to hand is too weak on it own.

I only make female characters if they can give me and edge on certain occasions. For example, I have a female character in Fallout 3 and New Vegas because I can use the Black Widow perk on guys, which makes alot of conversations go easier.
But in games that is merely just looks, like Mass Effect, I usually create a male character. The only game I have made a female character is Oblivion, but I have no idea why.

I usually make male characters just so I can strip as naked as the game will let me and run around nude.
But then it isn't the same on vanilla Oblivion or Morrowind due to me always being a Khajiit rogue-type.

Would be nice if gauntlets would affect fist damage, and you should be able to give them offensive enchantments like weapons has.

The only game where gender is really important to pick on because of what you like to look at more is KoTOR. That camera floated around your ass so I always played a girl because at the very least, if the camera is orbiting an ass, it should be a nicely shaped one.

I always wanted to see a bladed gauntlet in TES. The princple of that is totally fucking awesome

They are such an obscure item in history, the only thing close to it was the Pata gauntlet sword and they Maratha just kicked everybody's ass because of it. Such a viable weapon but theres so few references to weapons of that style anywhere :(

If you are spending your time in the game staring at your own ass, then you are playing it wrong. I spent 280 hours in Oblivion, I never once stopped and thought "Hmm...what does my Argonian's ass look like", instead I was watching if a Goddamn bear was charging around the corner.

When I was a kid I played with Jurassic Park toys. I never went "I dont want to stare at Ian Malcom's ass! I wanna stare at Barbies ass!"

There is nothing wrong with women in games, and it is fine if you want to play as one, but to use that "I dont wanna look at a guy" excuse is pathetic.

I hate to be that guy and whatnot but I posted in the other Elder scrolls thread and that seems to be pretty dead so I figured posting it here would give me more of a chance at a response.

I recently re-installed Oblivion and some mods, most notably Deadly Reflex. At first I thought the new first person was kind of cool until it started fucking up a lot when I was trying to sneak around with a bow and arrow and its just turned me off, does anyone know of any way to disable Deadly Reflexes first person replacement?
