NO! I DUNN WANNA! :v: [/joke] I suppose, but what's the internet for if not to argue anonymously about unimportant things?
Then I digress to the topic of tits on beards. Thank you kindly, sir.
Which retailer should I preorder Skyrim from?
Which retailer should I preorder Skyrim from?
All of them.
Which retailer should I preorder Skyrim from?
I would probably wait and see if any retailers decide on pulling special preorder content crap.
I have a feeling that Skyrim's going to be pretty awkward on console. My main worry, holding things and moving them around is now apparently done by holding the A(X) button. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] Lots o' custom button mapping.
Which retailer should I preorder Skyrim from?
heres a snapshot of what its like in the uk
So apparently necromancer NPCs get an actual necromancy spell this time. I hope the player character can learn it.
heres a snapshot of what its like in the uk
Wow, are all new console games £44.99 over there?
I really hope there is a necromancer spell. I want skeletons and ghouls and shit. When I played all there was in the demo was a fire spell.

As far as, "skeletons and ghouls and shit" goes, there have always been summoning spells for that kind of stuff, I'm not sure what you mean.
Wow, are all new console games £44.99 over there?
A Euro is worth 1.42837 of a dollar. So 44.99 x 1.42837 = 64.2623663 US dollars. And that's probably what you're going to pay for the game in America. Or 64.26 since I know I'll get criticism from that.

[t]http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/7343/nopeavi2.jpg[/t] Perhaps that's a better picture.
Wow, are all new console games £44.99 over there?
Generally the RRP is something like £34.99 for PC games, most online retailers take that down to about £24.99. Increasingly now PC games are getting around £39.99, thankfully retailers generally keep that around £28. Console games are about £10 more expensive, sometimes (hilariously) more. CoD games are around £60 for whatever reason. The only places that actually charge the RRP are high street stores and (weirdly) steam. What's awesome is that (as a PC gamer who doesn't get ripped off by steam or the high street) I always pay $45-$50 for new games, it's great.
[t]http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/7343/nopeavi2.jpg[/t] Perhaps that's a better picture.
why is the xbox version $5 more expensive than the console version that means I pay $15 less for the pc version from amazon than you, lol
And yer goats will have beards
why is the pc version $5 more expensive than the console version that means I pay $15 less for the pc version from amazon than you, lol
Because the PC is better than the shitty consoles, you have mods (that only makes the gameplay better), adjustable graphics, and console commands for more screwing around in the game.
Because the PC is better than the shitty consoles, you have mods (that only makes the gameplay better), adjustable graphics, and console commands for more screwing around in the game.
Yeah, but MS/Sony has licensing fees (as Generic.Monk stated), and they don't have to spend as much money on discs since a good majority of people get it from digital distribution services, although that may be different here in Skyrim cause of the map...

Honestly, anyone who buys this for the console is a fool (unless they don't have a PC good enough for gaming). The mods and console commands pretty much make it a no-brainer for PC.
Preordered Skyrim for pc today. Bethesda has clearly earned my money.
Which retailer should I preorder Skyrim from?
Gamestop is giving out maps if you preorder.
And yer goats will have beards
I hate goats with their constant annoying bleating and their stupid beady rectangular pupils. If I see a goat in skyrim, especially a mountain goat I will use the 'push' dragon shout to throw it off a cliff

Did the devs ever go over how player housing would work? Because I really liked how Morrowind made you have to join one of the 3 houses and have a stronghold built in order to have your own housing. I'd also like to be able to build a house in the middle of the forest and live there, like the tiny one-house settlements/cabins you see in Oblivion.
