But there was a review, which said that the jump animation did look amazing now.
It looks so amazing you can't even see it!
i need a video displaying all the diagonal moving animations, then i can preorder
“…Hey” I thought. “The jumping animation isn’t terrible anymore and… holy shit I just played the game in 3rd person and it worked!” Not only that but it was damn near enjoyable. Dare I say that Skyrim is playable and outright fun in a 3rd person perspective?! Could such a thing be true?! Did Bethesda actually live up to the promise of making an Elder Scrolls game that was playable in something other than a first person perspective?! It had appeared so. I was impressed.
I really hope when things fall (say, an adoring fan off a cliff) they go faster then the 1 meter/sec they do in oblivion. If they fell any slower they would fall upwards.
Tameril, must have slightly low gravity.
Tameril, must have slightly low gravity.
It would explain the moon jumping
I really hope when things fall (say, an adoring fan off a cliff) they go faster then the 1 meter/sec they do in oblivion.
This just in: Jump removed to make it easier for console players. :v:
I've never seen a platformer on the PC, have you?
In the leaked quake footage, when the giant ragdolled down from the sky, you could slightly see it accelerating.
Yeah, it seems that it continued accelerating in that footage but the footage they showed before of the giant it fell at a nearly constant rate (as in, very low terminal velocity posisbly), kind of like oblivion
I've never seen a platformer on the PC, have you?
Last one I played was Psychonauts, and the one before that SMB.
I've never seen a platformer on the PC, have you?
I've played Super Mario 64 using an emulator.
Yeah, it seems that it continued accelerating in that footage but the footage they showed before of the giant it fell at a nearly constant rate (as in, very low terminal velocity posisbly), kind of like oblivion
Yeah, the first time they showed that scene it was a constant rate, the second time it accelerated.
I've never seen a platformer on the PC, have you?
Prince of Persia?
Has anyone from the various "I played Skyrim at a convention" articles ever mentioned taking alcohol or Skooma? It would be nice if this time, there was some kind of altered vision/wobbly camera effect instead of a "you are high" text message à la Oblivion/Fallout.
It would be nice if this time, there was some kind of altered vision/wobbly camera effect instead of a "you are high" text message à la Oblivion/Fallout.
Altered vision? Wobbly camera effect? Come on, let's be realistic. Have you ever drank Skooma IRL? Everyone knows it DOES give you a 'You Are High' text message.
I'd say Oblivion was one of the better games, graphically wise, that came out in 2006. [editline]4th September 2011[/editline] I'd say Oblivion looks better... Hard to compare though, it's a completely different style. The thing about Oblivion is, graphics or not, there are some breathtaking landscapes. Can't say that about Saints Row.
Yeah, but Saints Row has shadows. :v:
Yeah, but Saints Row has shadows. :v:
So does Oblivion?
So does Oblivion?
From characters only? Even Half Life 2's horrible shadows are better than having none in gamebryo.

(it's a mod)
Link is borked.
just use this http://knotstheinane.blogspot.com/p/oblivion-modding-guide.html [editline]4th September 2011[/editline] My copy of oblivion has reached the point where for some reason it starts playing like absolute shite for no conceivable reason. Maybe I'll reinstall when I finish playing Deus Ex 1 and try and build a stable install that runs relatively well. Or maybe I'll try playing morowind again.
Woo! 19 days until I can play Skyrim.
Woo! 19 days until I can play Skyrim.
19 days? Are you with the press or something?
Woo! 19 days until I can play Skyrim.
For me it says "64 days, 6 hours, 35 minutes and 30 seconds" [editline]In the FUTURE![/editline]
19 days? Are you with the press or something?
He is from the furture, wish him welcome to our time.
4 days until Oblivion 1.8 comes out... Oh wait, that's MINECRAFT 1.8. Bethesda really needs to sue Mojang, confusing my small brain.
Bethesda really needs to sue Mojang, confusing my small brain.
Bethesda should sue Mojang for making crappy indie games. IMO.

It's easy if you look at it, come on.
