What? I don't understand...
So frenzy is a red cloud? A bit in-your-face about magical effects.
to be honest with the amount of unique spells its helpful to have them clearly marked and colour coded so you know if the next magic attack will heal the enemy or blow their nuts off
What? I don't understand...
It just seems like they're overcompensating for not knowing if a spell is still in effect by covering what's affected in flouresent mist.

I mean the red cloud on the enemy, not in your hand.

so you're saying the effect could be much more subtle but still obvious enough to tell where enemies are?

So hostile targets ARE red with Detect Life contray ti what I was told a few minutes ago in this thread?

I don't see any red clouds...

It was in another demo I saw.
We are discussing this image, am I correct?

Notable stuff in that image is Detect Life in his left hand and Frenzy in his right.
Detect Life is currently active, as you can see from the bar beneath his hand. You can see 2 blue blobs, of a similar color to the cloud around his hand. These are 2 living creatures, enemy or otherwise. I see no red clouds other than in his right hand, which I repeat, is a ready but not active Frenzy spell.

Oh for fuck's sake. Well say that next time... Can we get an image of this, or is it from memory? Your memory may not be serving you well...

It was Todd's Quakecon demo footage that was leaked here a while ago. He had Detect Life active and used Frezy on the guard on the left. The frenzied guard attacked the guard on the right of that image and the frenzied guard had a red mist not a blue mist.
I assume the red mist around the represented the frenzy effect, not the enemy status. both guards are enemies.

Why would the guards be enemies?
-snip because the link is a faggot-

Ah. I'll watch that bit again and get back to you on that.
I always found the stories of the Chimer's transformation into the Dunmer the most interesting. It's more interesting if you play as a Dunmer and interact with Azura in any of the games.
The real biography of Barenziah, nuff said.
You guys are really analyzing this frenzy spell huh?
You guys are really analyzing this frenzy spell huh?
Really it was just arguing about a misconception.
Some pages back, you guys were talking about Multiplayer in Oblivion. A guy is making this thing called Vault-Tec Multiplayer. It's multiplayer in Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Oblivion. It's in alpha right now.
Yes it's easy to steal peoples shit. I think of it as more for co-op not MMO.

Sorry if I'm blind, but where do you see anything about Oblivion compatibility?
It says
Q: What about Fallout: New Vegas?
A: vaultmp will be compatible with both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
And with a name like that, I wouldn't expect it to work with Oblivion.

It won't, unless they put the time in to make a file conversion system for the new engine. Although I doubt they ever will.
I read somewhere VaultMP has oblivion support, no idea where though. Probably its forum.

I've been on here longer than you have but your post count is higher, with 99% of them being bitchfests about people playing games how they want to play them and me.
love you

Because I'm pretty sure they're bandit guards, and thus enemies. That doesn't really have anything to do with how you want to play.
I got distracted and typed in "resident evil skyrim" when I was googling for a Skyrim wallpaper.

Did it say in the demo?
What the fuck does it even matter what they were? Honestly.
Todd was playing lawful good in the demo up to that point, I don't see why he'd randomly set two friendly NPCs against each other

Just trying to figure out the spell effects.

Looked more like chaotic neutral the way he walked away from that smith mid-conversation.

Looked more like, brace yourself for this, whatever the hell he wanted. :v:
How does Morrowind compare to Oblivion? Graphics aside, is it better or worse?
