Yeah, I was always under the impression that your position as stand-in-prince was only temporary and that Sheograth would come back sooner or later and want his shit back. After all, doesn't his whole realm go through a cycle of him dying/becoming jyglag and restarting?
[sp] No, you stopped that when you defeated him. He leaves into a new realm of order and leaves that place for you. [/sp]
Gentlemen. I present to you. Sister futa!

Maybe [sp]Jyggalag is referenced as a daedric prince, and Sheogorath isn't mentioned at all? Because technically that's how it really was.[/sp]
I demand a mission where you do stuff for Jyggalag and be able to become a knight of order.

That is just disgusting.
Now where might I download such a thing? You know, just so I can examine it and be utterly disgusted by it in-game....

i thought knights of order were lifeless husks created by jyggalag
"DOVAKHIN, YOU MUST DESTROY THE LAST DRAGON!"

Whatever, I mean who needs charisma when you can just shove order up people's asses and kick shit up?
I might be like 5 years late with this lol but I always thought it'd be cool to join one of the guard factions in the cities.
I always thought it'd be a cool little side questline, running and catching criminals or inspecting a certain cave that's been giving a city trouble or something.
Was there ever an oblivion mod for this?
Might be a stupid question but meh, I'd have fun with it. :v:
Never got past alpha stage, but it's still pretty good.

That boxart makes me want to shed tears. It's so inspiring.
So wanting ultra-high-res textures in a game is a bad thing? What have you people done with the PC gamers that used to frequent this thread?
Something that would be VERY interesting to see would be seeing your characters imported from previous games to the new one (they don't have to be alive obviously, it's 200 years later) as a statue for their fame being praised for the best quest they ever completed.

Great-great-great etc grandchild of your Oblivion character with the looks of your Oblivion ancestors but the blood of Skyrim's Dragonborn...

I want high resolution textures for the PC version. I was gone about a day, I had to reinstall Windows. Glad I put Windows on a second HDD by itself so I didn't lose anything important. Honestly it takes more time turning off all the "Babysitting" options in vista than reinstalling it. "YOU CANT EDIT THAT FILE UNLESS YOU DISABLE THIS AND THAT"
That said, I already have it pre-ordered on Steam and I cant wait for it
It is stated by Sheogorath in one of the Shivering Isles quests that the PC doesn't become a daedric prince. You are still a mortal.
Isn't it basically like Sheogorath wants a bit of rest time, so you're basically filling in for him?

What if the "Great-great-great etc grandchild of your Oblivion character" is a different race than the Oblivion character?

I don't know about you but my Oblivion character got around

If a Nord male screws an Argonian female, the kid will turn out Argonian. The ancestors of your character could be anything.

So an Argonian gene is a dominating gene and the Nord is recessive?

That really clears a lot of gaps. I hope there will be a shout for 100% chameleon instead of just enchanting a game-breaking outfit.

Nah that was just an example, whatever the two races are, the child will be the mothers race.

At least that's what I'd heard

Who reinstalls VISTA?
Windows 7?
Who reinstalls VISTA?

I don't have Windows 7. I do however have the Vista CD and serial code so if I need to reinstall it, I can.
I don't want to waste money on a new OS when Vista works perfectly fine, at least for me. I had to reinstall due to a hard drive problem BTW, it was in no way actually Vista related.

i have never bought an operating system, just sayin'
edit:
also vista sucks dicks compared to 7
There's your problem.
"Oh look someone likes something popular that I don't like and some other hipsters on FP don't like, so it's bad to use facebook"
I'm almost giving up on my marksman class. Even with mods the game is unbalanced as fuck, with 63 hours played I decided to rush the main quest so that I can begin a new character, but shit's fucking impossible, being attacked by 2 deadric spiders and 2 deadroths on Kvatch was a pain in the ass. What do?
The box actually contains the Skyrim universe kinda like that Futurama episode. You just open the box and jump in.
We'll probably be doing that 500 years into the future - and we'll call it "immersive" even if we still don't know what the hell we're using "immersive" for.

But then people will accuse the developers for dumbing the game down as an RPG since you're being you and not playing a role and your stats will be less important.
I never really understood why people can't grasp the way the quests work.
because there's no quest marker?
Most likely. I like it though. I remember my first playthrough in Morrowind.
I was doing the Fighters Guild quest, where you need to kill off a cave full of bandits. So, I go search the cave. And go. And go. 200 hours later I realized that I'm pretty much a Demigod, with legendary equipment and enormous skills, saw everything that there is to be seen... And then I remembered, "oh, fuck, that cave".
I don't like how Bethesda made the relationship system. I mean, instead of just making a few chat options for romance on every NPC, they make some kind of a amulet you have to wear. If it is bought in almost every grocery store in the game, I'd understand because then it would be easier for everyone (the NPCs) to show their availability which I'd understand, but if that amulet is a rare item or something you have to do a side quest for, I am literally going to cry.
