Actually the marriage mechanic sounds like a more involved version of Companion Share and Recruit, which will be great if the combat AI isn't as batshit retarded as it was in Oblivion. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] Also I'm playing morrowind at the moment and having a blast, it's quite fun once you stop expecting it to be Oblivion.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Green_Pact Bosmer are cannibals, there is something I didn't know about those tree hoppers.
This adds a new layer of creepiness to the Adoring Fan.
I've been playing through Oblivion again and it just makes me realize how much better Skyrim will be. hnnnnggg
Use female body mesh for male clothing. Problem solved with added man tits as a bonus. Just what certain Nexus users were looking for.
This would happen on Mount and Blade. If you used a female villager clothing it would actually give your character a feminine appearance and it was horrible. "Good work soldier, now lets eat it" "B-but sir th-!" "START EATING!"
Also I'm playing morrowind at the moment and having a blast, it's quite fun once you stop expecting it to be Oblivion.
True. Although I had to stop playing eventually because the Morrowind Patch Project borked the Raven Rock questline and I couldn't find a fix. Thankfully I had saved Raven Rock for last, so I didn't miss out on much.
Can we have children? Cuz I want to harvest an army of bastard children to do my adventuring for me.
Can we have children? Cuz I want to harvest an army of bastard children to do my adventuring for me.
Yes, but for them to age you will need to wait out that time, so I recommend, 145 assaults, 166 murders, lots of ale, and a sword called "fcuk you UP!"
Can we have children? Cuz I want to harvest an army of bastard children to do my adventuring for me.
Do you really want an army of bastard INVINCIBLE children? Lol, kinda overpowered, don't ya think?
If kids can attack you at all I will not be happy. I don't care if they're invincible, but if I start slaying shit they better just run away
If kids can attack you at all I will not be happy. I don't care if they're invincible, but if I start slaying shit they better just run away
I didn't see any kids but I heard one. I assume they ran off as soon as I started murdering people at the lumberyard.
no idea why everyone's so excited about dragons, remember their last attempt at flying enemies?
no idea why everyone's so excited about dragons, remember their last attempt at flying enemies?
We've seen the fucking videos. They're awesome.
So any word on system requirements?
I'm guessing somewhere in the realm of dual core at ~2.7ghz, a nice 512 gfx card for medium-high settings, and a good 13-15gb of hard drive space. Of course these are my very non-professional guesses. Any input?
Can we have children?
In one of the Fable games (#2 I think) a common practice was having dozens of children and harvesting their souls
That was during development, when they were toying with the idea of playing as the heroes child if the player died, but as you mention, it led to play testers harvesting dozens of kids as extra lives :v:

I suppose you may be right, I was just thinking that Oblivion was 8-10gb, so it has to be larger than that. Much more content, better textures, the like.
So any word on system requirements?
Bethesda will officially release the system requirements next month.
They said you could dual-wield and "combine" spells, right? What happens if you combine a healing spell and a damage dealing spell?
Ya think? I suppose you may be right, I was just thinking that Oblivion was 8-10gb, so it has to be larger than that. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline]
They said you could dual-wield and "combine" spells, right?
You can only combine two spells that have the same effect, like two Healing spells or two Fire-Damage spells.
Aw nerts, I wanted to combine fire damage and lightning damage. Oh well.
I'm sure that'd be incredibly easy to change in the Creation Kit.
Is it sad that I have 9/11 marked as "Two months away from Skyrim!"?
Is it sad that I have 9/11 marked as "Two months away from Skyrim!"?
Nope
Is it sad that I have 9/11 marked as "Two months away from Skyrim!"?
No Skyrim is more important.
as soon as the creation kit is out, I'll tinker the fuck out of it until I'm the boss at making mods. after that, comes the modelling and other bullshit like that :v:
Is it sad that I have 9/11 marked as "Two months away from Skyrim!"?
I was buying some grapefruit juice today and it looked kinda funky so I checked the expiration date and it was some time in early November and I immediately thought "Oh it'll be fine as long as I drink it before Skyrim"
This has me remembering that my college schedule is pretty much built around November 11th being free.
I was buying some grapefruit juice today and it looked kinda funky so I checked the expiration date and it was some time in early November and I immediately thought "Oh it'll be fine as long as I drink it before Skyrim"
All dates will be recorded in BS and AS, Before and After Skyrim respectively.
Also I'm playing morrowind at the moment and having a blast, it's quite fun once you stop expecting it to be Oblivion.
Despite the "prettiness" of cyrodil, Vvardenfell is just a fucking amazing environment. Arguably one of the best and most comprehensive worlds designed in any game to date. I sort of hopped into MW expecting it to be an older version of oblivion. The game mechanics are clunky at first, but the world and atmopshere sucked me in right away.
